(brief recap:

"Yeah. Oh, and another weird thing - I can sense where you are now!"

"What?!" Madara exclaimed. "Well. . . I suppose that should be expected - if our chakras are so closely tied, then we both should be able to sense each other. I have always been able to sense you, but it is strange that I have not noticed my own chakra acting up. . ."

Hashirama brushed it off, "Eh, it's probably fine. . . Anyway, I'm not letting you off so easy after earlier - you can't just kiss me like that and expect me to let it go!" He laid down and looked up at the Uchiha.

"I can guess what you are about to say," Madara sighed. He knew the Senju was going to ask him to lay beside him, not that he had much of a choice - he would just say it was 'Hokage's orders'. So, he laid down next to him.

. . . and now to continue :D)

They both stared up at the ceiling. Hashirama broke the silence, "Did you like it?"

"Hm?"

"The kiss - did you like it?"

Madara smacked him and shouted, "Why would you ask something like that?!"

Hashirama mumbled, "Sorry, I'm just curious. . . I did."

"What?"

"I said that I did."

"You did what?"

"I liked it, that's what I meant."

Madara's heart skipped a beat; his pulse was increasing.

"What?" The Uchiha repeated, not knowing if he heard him right. He turned over to look at him.

Hashirama also turned on his side and looked him in the eyes. "The kiss. I liked it. I want to kiss you again."

The Co-Hokage's eyes widened and he put his face in his hands. His voice was muffled when he spoke. "How can you say such things so shamelessly. . .?"

Hashirama said softly, "What, it's true! I'm not ashamed of how I feel about you."

Madara slowly pulled his hands away from his face and stared at the Senju.

"How are you not ashamed? Our clans. . ." he trailed off.

Hashirama put a hand on Madara's shoulder and looked him directly in the eyes again. "Why should that matter to me? Like I've said before, we aren't at war anymore. . . I love you, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I mean, why should I be? There's so much to love about you."

Madara couldn't help but smile a little. "I do not know what you see in me. You could have anyone. . . What is it about me?"

"I can't explain it, it's just how I feel. I love everything about you. . . You mean the world to me, Mada. I don't want anyone else - I never have and I never will."
