My gaze darted away from Cedric's intense stare, my eyes roving nervously as I avoided eye contact. A shiver ran down my spine, and I rubbed the goosebumps on my arms, my heart racing.

"What right do you have to enter my office without permission, Julia Kite?" Cedric's sharp, fierce eyes bore into me as he demanded.

I swallowed hard, feeling a bead of sweat trickle down my forehead. My voice trembled as I stammered, "I-I'm s-sorry?" It sounded more like a question than an apology.

Cedric's anger was palpable as he ignored my apology, his voice laced with fury. "What are you doing in here?" He took a step closer, his eyes blazing with intensity, making my heart skip a beat.

Oh no. I made the fierce and insane emperor, Cedric, angry! I'm doomed. I'm doomed. I'm so doomed. I'm so stupid for coming in here. If I had a rewind button, I wouldn't have came into his stupid office!

Cedric's gaze pierced through me as he accused, "Were you stealing or meddling with my belongings?"

I shook my head, my teeth chattering in fear. "N-no, of course not."

"I wouldn't mind sending you into the dungeon." He took my chin, raising it.

Oh please no.

Just then, Harry burst into the room, addressing Cedric with a bow. "Your Majesty." His eyes widened as he spotted me, and he hastily added, "Your Highness the Queen."

Cedric released my chin, and I breathed a silent thank you to Harry for interrupting the tense moment. I took a step back, wiping the sweat from my forehead.

Go, Harry! I could hug him right now for distracting Cedric. I took a step back towards the door.

"What is it, Harry?" Cedric snapped, his tone still brusque.

Harry explained, "Another letter has arrived from the Doom Empire, boasting that war is imminent and unstoppable, and some threats-"

Cedric's sudden interruption took us both by surprise. "Shut up."

Harry's eyes widened in shock, and I couldn't help but wonder why Cedric had cut him off so abruptly.

Why did he suddenly interrupt Harry? And what was Harry talking about - the Doom Empire bragging?

"Julia is here, and you dare talk about such matters in front of her?"

"Your Majesty, my deepest apology. I didn't notice Her Highness since she is so-" Harry suddenly stopped himself, realizing what he was going to say would offend me.

As the two continued to discuss the letter, I seized the opportunity to make a discreet exit.

I longed to soak my weary body in a warm bath, a luxury I hadn't indulged in since awakening from my coma. I was so tired.

As I halted in front of Julia's bedroom door, I pushed it open to find Joe busily tidying up the room and Logan leaning against the wall, his expression a mix of boredom and concern.

The moment they caught sight of me, they both bowed their heads, relief washing over their faces. "Your Highness!" they chimed in unison.

I acknowledged their greeting with a casual "Hi" and stepped inside, shutting the door behind me with a gentle kick of my heel.

I overheard Joe whispering to Logan, "Thank goodness Her Highness is back. I thought she ran away again!" His hushed tone was laced with anxiety. "I was about to go look for her."

As I rubbed my sore shoulders, wincing at the ache that seemed to permeate every inch of my body, I pulled out Cedric's letters from my pocket and carelessly tossed them into the open drawer, then slamming the drawer shut. Logan and Joe were too engrossed in their hushed conversation about me to notice.

"Logan, would you prepare a hot bath for me?" I requested, and the two men fell silent, their attention snapping back to me.

"Oh, of course Your Highness," Logan replied, before disappearing into the bathroom.

A moment later, he called out, "Your water is ready, Your Highness!"

I gathered a plush towel and a comfortable silk dress before entering the bathroom. As I locked the door behind me, I could almost see the worried looks on Logan and Joe's faces, always on guard against the possibility of my escape.

tested the water with my foot, finding it to be the perfect temperature.

Noticing a bottle filled with flower petals on the edge of the tub, I poured them into the water before climbing in. As I lay back, allowing the warm water to envelop me, I closed my eyes and let out a contented sigh.

I withdrew my foot from the water, dumped the flower petals into the water before climbing in the bathtub.

It had been far too long since I'd indulged in a hot bath. The sensation was nothing short of bliss.
