"Amanda! Amanda! Wake up, wake up!" I was shaken awake by my frightened sister. No, not shaken, pushed and knocked awake.

I slowly opened my eyes. "Julia?"

"That's right, it's me! Wake up, wake up! We have to get out of here!"

My eyes fluttered open. There were unsteady brick walls around us and

The ground was soft because there was dirt. Gross!

Was I sitting on any insects?! Squashing them, making them stick on my dress?!

Suddenly, I noticed a burning pain on my wrists and ankles. I began to wiggle them, but soon realized they were tied together!

"Ah!" I cried, starting to wiggle my body even harder. "My hands and feet are tied!"

Julia, however, didn't seem surprised. "Jason always ties his prisoners like this. It's his style," she sighed. Her hands and feet were also tied.

"Wait-what's going on?! Was that bald man who knocked us out the Jason you were talking about?!" I bit my lip, praying for Julia to say no.

"Yes, he is."

My stomach dropped. "How did he find you? Did he already-"

Julia closed her eyes, sighing. "I don't know how. I-I thought I lost him after all those years. But.... it seems like he has fallen for me and has been searching for me non-stop."

I gulped.

I looked around at the old brick walls and the dirt ground. "Is this the underground passage you told me about?"

Julia nodded while trying to pull her hands apart. "Stupid rope," she murmured.

Suddenly, thoughts of being touched by Jason forcefully ran through my head and I started to have all kind of bad thoughts.

What if Jason was angry at Julia because she escaped before, and now he's going to get revenge? What if likes me better than Julia, and decides to kill her because she is useless? What if he hurts Julia because he is in love with her?

"Your face is pale." Julia knocked me out of my thoughts with her quiet voice. She lowered her head, letting her bangs cover her eyes.

I didn't get how Julia wasn't sobbing or screaming or demanding to be let out. I felt exactly like doing that. I bit my lip furiously.

My wrists and ankle stung because of the rope. So uncomfortable. I wanted to take it off!

Suddenly the door of the underground passage opened. Julia and my ears perked up instantly and we looked back to see... Jason.

He climbed down the small stairs, carrying a small tray of food. "I brought lunch, my beautiful ladies." He winked at Julia and then smiled greedily at me.

I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists.

Don't. Flirt. With. Me.

He set the tray of food on the ground.

I wanted to bark at him, yell, demand, scream but somehow I didn't. I couldn't. I was actually afraid. Afraid that he'd hurt my sister, hurt me.

He smiled at us. "You all look so beautiful, like graceful ballerinas."

What!

Graceful ballerinas?!

What do ballerinas have to do with us?!

Do we look like ballerinas?! I wanted to spit in his face.  I didn't even know a thing about dancing!

My hands trembled in both fear and anger.

I heard Julia shuffling nervously beside me.

Jason grabbed Julia's chin suddenly, turning it. "Still beautiful as always, I see, Kayla."

Kayla?

"J-Jason," Julia stammered. I saw her clench her fists.

"I'll make you pay for running away." Jason gritted his teeth, the smile fading away as he hardened his grip on her chin.

Julia showed pain on her face.

I gritted my teeth. How dare he touch my sister! But I was too scared to move. What kind of fool was I, not being able to protect my own sister?!

But my whole body just felt numb.

"I have prepared your punishment for you a long time ago." He grinned and started walking towards the exit. He winked before disappearing.

"J-Julia," I trembled.

Julia glanced at me and gave me a weak smile. "He loves pretty woman so don't worry, he won't do anything unacceptable.

Jason soon appeared again, holding a bucket of cold water with ice in it.

Don't tell me.....

Jason poured the whole bucket onto Julia head.

"Augh! Cough cough cough!" Julia raised her tied hands over her head and began coughing as the freezing water and ice rained down on her. Some even splashed on the edge of my dress and onto my face, hands and hair.

Julia!

My eyes widened and I looked up, staring at Jason. He didn't notice me but just kept his attention to Julia.

He kneel down and pushed the bucket aside. "That's for running away, Kayla."

Kayla again?

I frowned. My sister's name was not Kayla!

Jason suddenly turned to me and I felt like I could no longer control my body. Not even my muscles. I couldn't even frown anymore. I just stared.

"I'm sorry that you got splashed too, dear," Jason said sweetly and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. I shuddered.

"What should I name you?"

"M-my name is Amanda."

Jason's gaze suddenly turned sharp. "Did I ask for your name? Did I ask you for your name!" He roared.

But then his smile soon returned.

So scary.

"Your name will be Shia."

Shia?

I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my skin. Did he just give me a name?! He was not my mother! How dare he name me!

My hatred for him grew, but also my fear.

Jason took the edge of the tray of food and pushed it towards us further.

He then untied the ropes on our wrists and smiled at us sweetly. He tucked the ropes in his pocket.

"I'll return in half an hour to tie your wrists together again. Eat your food in peace with your hand, my wonderful ladies!"

He waved at us before leaving.

I immediately turned to Julia after he left. "A-are you okay?"

Julia was wiping the water out of her eyes and face. She sniffed. "Y-yeah." She shivered. Her teeth chattered. I hugged her so she could warm up a bit.

Her wet hair stuck on my skin and her wet dress made me uncomfortable.

But I could do anything for my sister.

With my arm around her, I glanced at the food. Two loafs of bread with cheese and peanut butter sandwich.

Not my favourite.

Julia leaned back. "Enough with all the being miserable quietly, let's think of an escape plan."
