I was stunned as I stared at Theo. Thousands-no, millions of questions danced around in my head.

Have we met before? How did he know my name was Amanda? Why didn't he think I'm Julia, like everyone else? I didn't even need to explain... I didn't even do anything but stare!

"Amanda?" Theo called my name once more, his face filled with concern as took another step towards me. He reached for my hand.

"Don't touch me!" I yelled in panic. Theo flinched and hurt flashed across his eyes. He lowered his head and let his soft cute bangs fall over his flawless face.

I immediately felt a pang of guilt hit me. "I-I'm sorry," I stammered. "I-I just don't understand."

Theo raised his head slightly and we locked eyes. "What do you mean you don't understand?"

"Everything."

"Like what?"

"Like how you know my name and..." I shrugged. His eyes widened. "W-what? What do you mean? Amanda, of course I know your name!" He grabbed me gently by the shoulders and pulled me closer.

What?

"Don't you remember me? Stop looking at me like your clueless, Manda."

"Remember you?" I repeated, staring into his eyes. He stared back at me.

"Amanda, you don't remember anything that happened between us?" His face was filled with worry, fear and concern. "You forgot about me? What happened?" His name brushed across my face.

My heart pounded inside of my chest.

"I-I," I stuttered, "...did I meet you five years ago?"

"What do you mean? Of course we did!"

"...!"

I met Theo before I fell into a coma, so that was why I couldn't remember him! That made sense... However even though I don't remember anything that happened between us, I really want to grab him into a hug and kiss him.

Wait, what in the world am I thinking?

Kissing him?!

Amanda, are you crazy?!

Okay, focus, focus.

"Theo, you see, you might want to sit down for this," I told him. I heaved myself onto the kitchen counter.

"Before you say anything, are you okay? What happened to you after the carriage accident? I was so worried-"

"Hey, hey, hold up," I interrupted him, my eyes widening. Carriage accident? "I'm sorry, but can I tell you something?"

"Of course!" He grabbed my hands.

I took a deep breath. "I fell into a coma and slept for five years, so... I can't and don't remember anything."

Theo's jaw dropped, his eyes filling with shock and disbelief. "You don't remember anything?"

"Well, I do remember some things like being an only child and my identity."

Theo's face contained even more shock. "You're an only child? What are you talking about? You have a sister!"

Excuse me, but what?!

I have a sister?! But-but...

Was she the one who was visiting me when I was in the coma? How come she didn't come to help me when I woke up? Why did Doc Cruz tell me that I'm an only child?

"Theo, listen," I said, my shoulders slumping. "I can't remember anything. I have no clue what you're talking about." Tears pricked my eyes.

"Hey, hey, I can explain," Theo hurriedly told me. "You don't have to cry. Please, don't. It breaks my heart."

I suddenly felt ashamed to cry in front of Theo. I hurriedly wiped my tears. "I wasn't crying."

Theo chuckled. "You always say that whenever you are crying."

"Were we close?"

"Yes, we were. And we still are. We will be."

I didn't know what to say. I just nodded. "Can you... explain?"

"Of course. I have no choice." He wiped a remaining tear from my cheek as he said this.

"Amanda, get ready for the whole truth. I'm going to tell you who your sister is, why you are in this mess, why Cedric thinks you are Julia and what happened between us."

I nodded firmly and clenched my fists.

"Amanda, Julia is your twin sister."

What?!

My eyes rolled and I lost my balance, almost falling off the counter. I was about to faint.

"Amanda!"

Theo grabbed me by my waist and pulled me into his arms.

"Amanda, are you alright?!"

His loud and concerned voice brought me back to the world. My eyes snapped open fully.

I straightened my back quickly, stumbling backwards.

"Honey, what happened?"

Did Theo just call me honey?!

"I'll get you something to drink." He walked over to the kitchen counter and as he began pouring some water for me, my mind went back to what Theo said earlier:

Julia is your twin sister.

This is simply too crazy. Too crazy to be true! But I know Theo would never lie to me. I just know it. I have a feeling. And it wasn't impossible. That would explain why we look so alike.

Theo soon returned to my side and handed me the glass of water.

"Thanks." I accepted it and took a small sip. "How do you know all this anyway?"

"You told me five years ago." Theo smiled and took my hands, squeezing it.

"What?!" My eyes widened.

I told him?!

"Do you want me to continue?" he asked me.

I nodded.

"But are you okay? Do you think you will be able to-

"Yes! I just didn't see that coming."

"Well, more crazy stuff will be coming, Amanda, so be prepared."

I gulped as Theo took a deep breath. "So-" he started but then his voice trailed off when he glanced over to the curtains.

"What's wrong?" I followed his gaze towards the curtains.

Sunlight was leaking through it. Sunlight? SUNLIGHT?!

It's morning!

"Amanda, I have to go," he said hurriedly, facing me. "You have to get going too. The chef and maids will be here any second."

"But-but you haven't finished explaining yet!" Panic rose in my chest.

"Meet me here tonight, and I'll finish explaining, okay?"

"I-I-" I began but he didn't wait for me to reply.

He pulled me over to him, gave me a peck on the cheek and said, "Remember, I love you, Amanda." He then swiftly left the room.

I was too stunned to move. Did he just... kiss me on the cheek? I touched my cheek - the place where his lips touched.

 What relationship were we?

Ordinary friends? Or... girlfriend and boyfriend?

The sound of shuffling footsteps and muttering made me snap out of my daydream. Someone's coming!

I burst out of the kitchen and left.
