Demi's POV
"Stay the night with me." I blurted out quickly as I tried to recover from her lips touching mine. I was looking into her gorgeous eyes with those long eye lashes that is already becoming my biggest weakness.
"Dems, I - you know what. I won't say no because I know I don't want to say no. I just don't have any clothes to wear." Gracie spoke.
"That's okay. You can wear some of mine."
I paid the bill and I carried Gracie's purse to the car. As she got in the passenger side, she gave me a wide eyed looked.
"Are we crazy for doing this?" She questioned me, with a slight smile.
"Doing what, Graz?"
"Staying the night together. We literally just met today."
I let out a tiny laugh. "We aren't doing anything too crazy and nothing has to happen tonight. I just feel so drawn to you and I couldn't imagine saying goodbye tonight. I just want you near me."
"The thing is, I really want to be near you too. What are you doing to me?"
"I'm not sure, but I think it's heading in a great direction."
I started to make my way to my penthouse which was about a 30 minute drive. I handed Grace my phone and told her she could play whatever type of music she was in the mood for. She put on Luke Combs and I'm not sure why that just seemed very expected. I smiled to myself.
"A country fan, huh?" I giggled.
"Oh, you have no idea! Are you into country?"
"It's not my #1, but I don't mind it."
Gracie just nodded her head and continued to sing along to the words. I kinda got lost in focusing on the road and listening to her soft voice sing a long to the words that I actually almost forgot I was driving until I felt a soft hand touch the back of my neck. Gracie started to lightly caress my skin, gently massage the back of my neck and head.
"Wow, that feels really good."
"I'm glad, Dems. Can I tell you something?" Gracie asked.
"Of course, but please don't stop doing that."
She smiled. "I've always been a fan of yours, and I actually went to two concerts. The Neon Lights Tour and Tell Me You Love Me Tour. I've always thought you were pretty. But, Dems, I mean this when I say you are so fucking gorgeous. Excuse my language, I apologize, but I've been this whole day sitting in front of you and really being able to examine your features. I've never been one to be into brown eyes, but I get lost in yours. Your smile is by far my favorite thing I've ever witnessed but I love even more that I'm learning your different smiles already. The one you do when you're talking about something YOU love or the one you do when you're listening to me talk about something that I love."
I felt tears go into the back of eyes. I didn't have a response because I knew if I opened my mouth I would start crying.
"Oh, shit, no! What's wrong? I'm sorry, you look so upset. Did I say the wrong thing?" Gracie panicked.
"No, not at all. Thank you for paying attention to me and thank you for making me feel like a real, normal human. Not just famous Demi Lovato. Thank you for trying to see ME, and not just me as a celebrity. It means more than you know, and Graz, I swear to you, you're the prettiest human I've ever experienced."
She just gave me a huge smile and removed her hand from my neck and placed my hand in hers and she kissed the back of my hand. My heart was melting. We stayed in comfortable silence until we arrived at the penthouse. I parked the car and I got out and opened up her car door. As we approached the front door, Gracie grabbed my arm and spun me around, and immediately her lips were on mine and my hands found their way to her hips. She gave me quite a few long kisses and pulled back and put her hands on my face and whispered. "God, I just had to do that again. I couldn't wait a second longer. Demi, I swear to you, I can't wait to get to know who the person is behind the persona of being a celebrity. I can't wait to keep getting to know you."
