Grace's POV
We both slept in relatively late, which I'm glad because it's both of our last free day before we head to work. It was going on 10:30, and Demi was still fast asleep cuddled up to me. I untangled our bodies without waking her, throwing on one of her sweatshirts and making my way downstairs. I brewed some coffee and made my way outside to her back patio.
Sitting on the couch outside surely brought back memories of one of our fights, when I slept outside with out a blanket. I couldn't help but laugh to myself at the ridiculous measures our fights have always gone to. I overlooked all of LA, taking in the beauty of California. It is complete opposite of Michigan, which I'm so lucky to be able to experience and live in both. As hard as I thought leaving Michigan would be, I'm so excited and feel content being back here for a while.
"Did you make me some coffee, too?" I heard Demi's sweet voice and looked up to see her standing in the doorway with a blanket wrapped around her.
"You know I did." I smiled. "It's in the microwave."
She got her coffee and made her way back outside, sitting next to me. She put her legs across my lap, and covered us both with the blanket. My hand instantly went to her legs, caressing and rubbing her legs.
"Are you mad at me?" She whispered, taking a tip of her coffee.
"I told you I'm not mad." I said, looking in her eyes.
"I know, but if you are - please just tell me. Let's communicate and put it behind us."
I sighed, knowing she was right. I wasn't mad, I truly wasn't, but more so my feelings were hurt.
"I think what bothers me the most is that you lied about where you were going and who you were going with. I was under the impression you were doing something when in fact you were doing something completely different. It makes me feel like an idiot." I spoke honestly, continuing to rub her leg.
"You have every right to feel that way and although it wholeheartedly wasn't my intention, I take full responsibility for making you feel that way. I'm sorry for lying and not telling you the truth about where I was going, baby."
"I appreciate you saying that to me. I guess my feelings are just a little hurt - but I'm really not mad at you, I promise."
"What can I do to make your feelings not hurt anymore?" Demi asked, setting her coffee down on the table. She took her legs off my lap, and pulled me into her.
"Take me to do whatever I want to do today."
I laughed which made her laugh as well.
"Only thing is Marissa and Matthew will be joining us because they're dying to see you."
"That's even better! Let's just have a fun day, Dems. Let's live in the moment and forget about our busy schedules and hard jobs and just have an incredibly fun day." I said, nuzzling my head into her neck. She held me closer, caressing the skin on my back.
"I'm really sorry for hurting your feelings, Gracie. I hope you know that I fully realize that it was wrong and I truly will be 100% honest about everything in the future, even if it could possibly upset you. I also hope you know that I never want to hurt you or be the reason you're upset. I love you so much."
I smiled, happy that she came clean and we talked about everything.
"I love you more." I whispered. I started kissing her neck, which made her shut her eyes and bite her lips.
"You want me to give you those mind blowing orgasms I talked about last night?" I said quietly into her ear, nibbling on it a bit.
"Ugh, fuck, you know I do."
