Coraline

Everything has been crazy and nonstop since leaving Binz.

The meet and greet was great.

Now I'm finally experiencing Paris with the band.

Since leaving Germany, I'll admit, things have since escalated with Damiano. And we haven't exactly been keeping it quite. I will admit that I've missed this with him.

I don't think I want to leave Paris. It's so beautiful here. If I had of come here a few months ago, I would definitely not have left. And I probably would have bypassed all the drama over the past few months.

I'm definitely coming back here soon. Very soon.

Today I go collect the keys to my new house and I couldn't be happier. The house is absolutely gorgeous and secluded away from the busyness of the city.

Sadly I can't stay there tonight until I pick up all my furniture tomorrow, but the fact that I officially have a place to call my own feels great.

Damiano won't start staying with me for at least a week while he's got shows, so I'll have time to myself to get used to living alone.

"You going to be right today?"

I turn to Thomas after packing my bags into the car. I kind of had no choice but to go home today, I'm wearing my last clean outfit and haven't been able to wash anything.

"Yeah I'll be fine, going to be weird staying in that big house alone though". I'd be more scared about staying at their house alone, but Alice has agreed to stay with me until everyone comes back tomorrow which makes me feel better.

"You call us straight away if anything happens. If need be, call the police station and have someone stationed outside".

I nod and hug Thomas before getting in the car. I said goodbye to the others earlier before they were needed for sound checks. But of course Thomas snuck off.

I can't wait to not drive after tomorrow. Just these past days I've done so much driving and I'm tired.

It's so quite in the house without the boys bickering with each other and Victoria running around.

The silence is good though, it helps me focus on packing.

A lot of boxes sit in my room that I'm yet to open. Ma sent them in the mail a few days ago. Apparently it's a lot of my clothes and personal belongings.

On top of one box is a gift bag with a bow.

I assume it's a birthday gift.

Opening it up, I take the card and read it.

Happy 20th birthday my girl.
You said you'd always be with me on your birthday until you died, but if I'm being honest, I'm glad you're out and making a life for yourself. Your dream life.
While I miss you and regret everything that has happened, I hope the best for you.
Ma x

My eyes tear up, and I reach into the bag to find a jewellery box.

I open the box to find a gorgeous bracelet with a flower charm. It really does mean a lot that ma sent a gift.

The boxes are quite heavy, I'm definitely going to need help tomorrow. I needed help getting them up the stairs today. Probably would have been smarter to leave them downstairs, though.

The first box is just clothes. Pretty much my whole wardrobe, hangers are still on some.

Starting on the other boxes I find things such as photos, books, old school work, stuffed teddy's. Everything I loved.

I find myself going through every book I find and looking at every photo reminiscing on everything.

I must have fallen asleep somewhere during all this. My phone rings from somewhere in the room and I rub my eyes whilst trying to find it.

It's Thomas. I hit answer.

"Hey, you alright?"

I look at the clock and yawn. "Yeah, fell asleep packing. Why are you calling at 1:30 in the morning?"

"We're on our way home, Damiano fainted on stage but he's fine. Just think it's better to come home"

My heartbeat accelerates. "What happened?"

"I'll talk more when we get there. I've spoken to Alice, she's staying there until we arrive."

I don't say anything for what feels like a minute. My head keeps telling me a million different things that could be wrong.

"Coraline, he's fine I promise. It's not what you think it is. Get some rest"

I whisper an 'okay' before he hangs up.

It's still a few hours before they get here, so I clear of the bed before scrolling through my socials.

I eventually fall back asleep, prepared to wake back up in a few hours.

It took me forever to update, I'm sorry.
It's a short chapter, but I didn't want to put any new drama in yet, saving it for later.
Anyways we've reached the halfway mark for this book!
