Ross and Demelza fell asleep in the bed without any clothes on. Demelza woke up, with Jeremy staring at her, he said, "I get in you bed?" Demelza knew not only was she nude but so was Ross. Thank God for the sheet she thought. Ross woke, "what's amiss?" Jeremy said, "I seep wit yu?" Ross eyes wide, looking at Demelza said, "why do not you go to the chamber pot and pee first?" Jeremy hung his head; did they think him still a baby that peed himself? He did what his father asked. Demelza and Ross scrambled getting the night clothes back on, giggling the whole time. Ross said, "if you would have told me seven years ago, I would be this happy I would have called you a liar." Demelza just pulled her nightshift down when Jeremy came out. Ross had his nightshirt on and was back in bed?" Demelza left Jeremy back in bed, she held him close and kissed his forehead. "I love you so much my little lover." Jeremy nodded, "I's nos. yu ove Papa to?" Demelza replied, "yes, my lover, I love papa to." Jeremy shook his head, dat why yu nt have clothes on?" Ross eyes nearly fell out of his head, Demelza asked, "who told you that." Jeremy shrugged, "I saw Papa hold you?" Now Ross was thinking how to explain this, did he ruin his son for life, God Good!! If he saw us being intimate. If I would have saw my parents that way, I would have had to burn my eyes out Ross thought then said, "when Jeremy?" Befoe yu went away a Momma cry." Demelza knew it was before, it must have been when she became pregnant. She looked at Ross who still looked a little sick. Ross then snapped out of it telling Jeremy, "It is special hugs between Momma and Pappa, it is special because I love your mother. I gave Lizzy a special hug, but it was different from my special hug with Momma. I do not love her! What Pappa did was bad, I hope Momma knows she is Pappa special person the one he truly loves now and forever. Jeremy asked, "Moma fogiv Papa?" Demelza nodded she did love Ross, and she would fight for this marriage to succeed.

Ross said, "since it still early let us go back to sleep. Get in here my boy." Jeremy giggled as he climbed over Demelza she tickled him making him laugh. Then Ross grabbed him holding him tightly to his chest. He smelled of strawberry just like his mother. He looked at him and said, "where Julia was a miniature Demelza, you my boy, are all me, except for you smile and good nature, which is from your mother!" Demelza laid on her side and snuggled in with Ross and Jeremy. She said, "I don't know Ross every now and then I see your obstinacy coming out in him." Jeremy did not know what it meant but Moma and Papa were both smiling so it must be good." "That trait is shared by both of us my love," Ross snickered. Yes definitely, good thought Jeremy. Ross watched his wife and son sleep, they were his life, how could he of left his anger cloud that from his mind. These two people where his everything he would spend the rest of his days telling them that. Demelza's eyes were shut so when she said, "stop watching me, it makes my skin crawl!" Ross chuckled; I do not know how you could tell your eyes were shut." Jeremy spoke up, "quit I's tying to seep." Both parents burst out laughing, Jeremy just huffed, they were the ones that wanted to sleep. They lay there talking and enjoying one another. Jeremy sighed after another tickling session he climbed over Ross saying, "I leep my bed, yu to noiey." Demelza and Ross laughed again, "Ross said, "do you know how much I love laying with you in my arms, Jeremy is remarkable, and I have you to thank for that. I promise you my love that I will be a better father to him, if you see me failing tell me."

They all got out of bed Demelza cleaned Jeremy and put clean clothes on him, for the trip to Turro. While Demelza was doing that Ross was shaving and getting himself ready. Once Ross and Jeremy were finished Ross stroked Demelza cheek, pushing her unruly hair off her face, kissing her passionately on the lips. Jeremy asks, "Papa wy yu do tat, hr no beaf?" Ross chuckled telling Jeremy as he picked him up, "one day I'll tell you all about it." Jeremy smiled. Demelza put on one of her better dresses, going down for breakfast Henshaw knocked and she left him in Captain, we need you at the mine, Ross said,"cannot it wait, my family is waiting for me to take them to Turro, Henshaw said, "I really think you will want to see this." Demelza said, "Go, we will be here right Jeremy?" Jeremy said, "I go wit yu Pappa?" Ross said, "only if your Momma comes to, you can't go below grass yet." Demelza looked down at her good dress and shrugged. Ross picked Jeremy up, grabbed Demelza's hand, they swung their arms as they walked. Demelza singing while Jeremy tried to sing along. Henshaw spoke, "Mistress Poldark, "I have never heard a more beautiful voice." Ross replied, "beautiful voice for a beautiful woman," as he smiled at his wife. Jeremy giggled, "Momma tunin colos!" "A most beautiful shade of pink," Ross laughed.
