Song: La Valse De L'Amour
Artist: Patrick DoyleRoman's POV:
Beautiful...is an understatement. Since the first time we bumped into each other she's had me wrapped around her little finger...and she doesn't even know it. The way her caramel hair falls past her shoulders. Or how her light brown eyes turn to honey in the light. The way her smile warms up my day. Ugh. And the way her laugh sends butterflies throughout my whole body.
"Roman?" She smiled.
The way she said my name made my body melt. The way her voice sounds so graceful and angelic. She holds this power over me that I didn't know anyone could have.
"What are you doing?" I heard her ask.
That's when I snapped out of my thoughts and threw my sketchbook in the air. Fuck!!! I was just in the middle of drawing a sketch of her.
"Nothing!" I jumped up.
She looked at me and then at the sketchbook. She walked closer to it and I moved in front of it.
"Is everything okay?" She asked.
"Y...yes," I nervously said.
"Are you...drawing something dirty?" She asked.
"No. I mean yes. No. Yes...yes I am," I said.
"Ooo can I see? I love figure drawings. I can't draw or paint them myself so I like to see other people do it," she smiled.
"I uhh....well...I don't think that's a good idea," I said.
"Why not?" She asked.
"Because...because it's a self portrait," I said.
I watched as her face turned to a bright red. It was the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I watched as she nervously looked around. She then stepped back a little.
"O...oh. Umm...okay then. I get it," she nervously said.
I quickly picked up my sketchbook and looked at her. I cleared my throat and looked around nervously.
"So umm...where were you headed?" I asked.
"Well...I was actually looking for you. I was...I was wondering if you could show me to the library upstairs," she said.
"Sure. I'd love to," I smiled.
With that I lead the way upstairs.

"So this is it," I smiled.
She looked around the room amazed at the amount of books that were on the shelves. It kind of reminded me of that princess movie Ash had us watch. That one about the pretty girl and the beast. And now that I think about it...Faith kind of looks like her. The only difference is that I'm not a beast. I'm a handsome gentleman.
"It's beautiful. Are most of these books old?" She asked.
"Most of them. But the librarian downstairs makes sure to update it with new books at least every month or two," I said.
She nodded and went around looking for a few books. I helped her carry a few she picked out to one of the tables set up in the library.
"This library would be beautiful for a ball," she smiled.
"I suggested it for the anual Valentine's ball that the academy has to Ms. Night but she didn't think it was the best idea in case someone knocked over the books. Which made sense. So then I told her we should use the empty hall in the south wing. It's been empty since I got here and they always throw the stupid ball in the cafeteria which in my opinion is disgusting. The amount of time and effort I put into dressing myself just to get germs all over my tux. My nerves go crazy. So I finally convinced her to have it there. Ash and I are going to clean the place tonight," I said.
