Dylan's POV:

I opened my eyes to see a rainy window once again. I'm not like other people who hate the rain. I actually like it.

I got out of bed, my feet touching the cold floor. I walked to my restroom and turned on the shower. I took off my clothes and waited for the water to get warm.

After a minute I got in. It took me ten minutes to clean myself and then I got out and wrapped a towel around my waist.

I walked to my closet and looked for an outfit. I put this on:

I brushed my teeth and did the rest of the stuff I had to do

I brushed my teeth and did the rest of the stuff I had to do. I fixed my puzzle piece necklace and I grabbed my backpack, phone, earphones, and my wallet.

I walked out my room and went downstairs. My mom was waiting for me in the kitchen.

"¿No vas a comer?"
You're not going to eat?

"No, ya voy tarde."
No, I'm already late.

"At least take an apple," she said.

I grabbed an apple and smiled at her. She gave me a satisfied look and turned around and went back to doing whatever she was doing. I walked out the kitchen and grabbed my keys and headed out the door.

"I hope you're all ready to win! We've been practicing for months! And it better show on the field at Saturday's game!"

"Yes coach!" We all yelled.

"That's what I like to hear! Now get out there and get to practice!"

"Yes coach!"

We all ran out into the wet field and practiced. Our coach didn't care if it was raining, windy, cold, or hot. We still had practice. The good thing was that it never snowed. That's probably were I have to cut the line. I wouldn't last a minute of practice in the snow.

"Dude, I don't think I can keep practicing in the rain. It's so fucking cold!" Max said.

"It's your first season. You'll get used to it," I said.

"I hope so."

I walked out the showers and took my clothes out of my locker.

"Have you heard anything from Ashlyn?" Ryan asked.

"Yeah, we talk everyday."

"Dude, I honestly don't know how you two never had a thing."

"It's not like that."

"I've known you two since the third grade. I see the chemistry."

"Nah man, it's not going to happen. Especially now that she's with someone."
