Chapter 84- Lovey Dovey

Roman's POV:

I starred at the page full of words but didn't get anything from it. It didn't even feel like I was reading. It just felt like I was looking at the words. I snapped back to normal when a hand lowered the book in my hands.

"Roman are you okay?" Faith asked.

"Yeah yeah. I'm....okay."

The thought of what happened came back to my mind. I closed my eyes for a second and tried to forget it. The thought quickly went away when I felt a warm hand on mine. I starred at our hands and then up at her.

"Are you sure you're okay? You don't look so good. And you've been acting a little odd lately," she frowned.

"I've just been stressed over a few things," I frowned.

I was trying to come up with a lie but I couldn't bring myself to tell her something that wasn't true. The thought of telling her that it was over a painting crossed my mind but it quickly vanished when I seen her beautiful worried eyes.

"Okay well...I'm here if you ever need someone to talk to. O...only if you want to....you don't have to...I just....yeah," she said.

A small smile formed on my face as I watched her get shy. How adorable it was. The way her face turned a light shade of red. How she nervously plays with her fingers.

"Thank you Faith," I smiled.

She nodded. I got back to my book but notice she had a small smile on her face but tried to cover it by raising her book higher so I wouldn't see. She's so cute.

After that I felt a little better. Instead of thinking about what happened the other night I was too busy dealing with the butterflies in my stomach.

"Roman?" She asked.

"Yes?"

"Umm....I was talking to Gabriel the other day and he told me about the other libraries in the academy. He said that he usually goes to one with Astrid but the other one he usually gets lost finding it...so I was wondering...if you ever have time could you...could you show me where it's at? Only if you want to. You don't have to because I know you're bu...."

"Faith," I smiled.

"Sorry," she nervously said.

"I'll be happy to show you to the libraries whenever you want. Just let me know when," I smiled.

"How about Friday? I would say today but I have to meet up with Tyler in the music room and I'm not sure how long that would take. And tomorrow I was planning on working on a few assignments I need to catch up on. And then after Astrid invited me over to her place to watch a movie," she explained.

The thought of how much she talks to me now came to mind. From little to no words. To having a full conversation with her. Well...except when I get nervous and say something stupid.

"Very well then. Friday it is," I smiled.

"Okay," she smiled.

She then went back to reading her book and I got back to reading mine.

Gabriel's POV:

"Did you notice Ash and Roman acting weird?" Astrid asked.

"Sort of. They've been a little distant these past two days," I said.

I watched as she tried to grab a book that was on the top shelf. A smile formed on my face. I walked up to her and grabbed the book for her. I handed it to her and she smiled.
