I woke up to the sound of my alarm and turned it off. I turned my head and looked out my window. My eyes widened at the sight of a million stars. Beautiful.
I got out of bed and went to the restroom. I turned on the shower and waited for the water to warm up. Once it did I took a ten minute shower and got out. I wrapped a towel around my body and opened my closet.

I put on a pair of hightop classic vans and then I began to brush my teeth. Once I did that I put on mascara and chapstick. I blow dried my hair leaving it in its boring straight way.
Once I finished doing all the things I had to do I grabbed my phone and the pocket knife Ash gave me last night. She said something about always being ready for a fight. I didn't get what she meant until I asked Gabe and he told me about what went down between her and that Rebecca girl.
I grabbed my keys and my wallet and walked out. I quietly closed my door and made my way to the staircase. From a distance I could see a tall figure. I looked closer and could see the blue eyed boy with his phone light on his face.
I guess he heard my footsteps and looked up. A smile formed on his face making the butterflies in my stomach go crazy.
"Ready?" He asked. I nodded.
He opened the door for me and we both made our way down the stairs. The sound of our footsteps echoed through the staircase. Once we got to the main hall we looked around and checked the halls. Once we seen it was clear, Roman grabbed my hand and lead me to the back door.
Once he opened the door the cold air hit my face. It was a nice feeling. My throat burned from the cold air but I liked it. I looked at Roman and smiled. We then walked out.

"So where are we going?"
"I wanna show you something. It's just a little past those trees. But we have to hurry."
With that we quickly made our way through the forest. After a few minutes we got to the spot. It was an open area. Roman looked at me and grabbed my hand. He then slowly began to walked.
Once we got to the middle he stop. He let go of my hand and stepped back. I raised a brow and looked around.
"Ready?" He asked.
He began to run around and fireflies began to appear. A warm feeling formed in my stomach. I looked up at all the fireflies dancing around the sky.
Roman's POV:
I watched as she looked up at the fireflies. A smile on her face. I remembered all the bad things Gabriel told me she went through as a kid. And I also know the things she's recently had to go though. This girl has my heart. Even if she doesn't want it......it's hers.
