Song: Hurts Like Hell
Artist: FleurieFaith's POV:
I walked into the hallway and saw girls walking to their classes. The guard gave me some clothes and told me to change into them once he shows me to my room.
Before that he showed me to my first class. Steve knocked on the door and opened it. I stepped in and noticed something very fast. Girls. Girls. Girls. Everywhere! I looked at Steve dumbfounded. He clearly didn't read my face.
"Ms. Walt. This is the new student that will be joining your class starting tomorrow."
The older lady looked at me up and down and gave me a small smile. I didn't return it. I haven't laughed nor smiled in years. The smile vanished from her face.
"Introduce yourself," she demanded. I rolled my eyes and walked in front of the class.
"My name is Faith Mendez," I said.
"What level?" The lady asked.
"Level?" I asked confused.
"She's a level A," Steve said.
"Level A? But there hasn't been a level A," The lady said.
"What is a level A?" I asked.
Everyone in the class started to whisper to each other. My anger was rising. No one was answering my questions. There's too much noise. Shut up! Shut up!
"Shut up!"
Everyone stopped talking and looked at me. I looked at Steve and then at the lady. I then looked back at Steve.
"What is a level A student? Why the hell is it such a big deal?! And why the fuck am I in an all girls academy?!"
Steve narrowed his brows and grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the class. He closed the door and pulled me to the side.
"You can not use profound language here."
"And how the hell was I supposed to know that? How the hell was I supposed to know any of this?! What the hell is a level A?! And why the fuck am I in an all girls school?!"
"No profound......"
I gave him a look. He didn't finish his sentence and walked away. I followed him because I clearly had no idea where I was.
He took me to an office and knocked on the door. A
woman spoke from the other side and we walked in. Steve told me to sit down. I sat down in front of the lady's desk. Steve went up to the lady and said a few things to her ear. She then looked at me and Steve walked out the door."You must be Faith. My name is Ms. Stone. I would like to discuss a few rules. So please pay attention."
"Okay."
"Number one: you must always wear uniform Monday through Friday. Number two: students must be in their rooms by 10:00p.m. Number Three: No use of profound language. Number four: there will be no use of technology during class hours. Number five: if you are to misbehave......."
Blah blah blah. This place is so boring. There are so many rules. And I'll most likely break all of them. Uniforms? Curfew? Anti tech? I looked at her with boredom writing all over my face. Half way through the rules I got up and walked out the door. I heard her call me but I didn't care.
"Do you now understand the ways of this school?" Steve asked walking towards me.
"She told me to tell you to explain the level," I lied.
