Roman's POV:
I ran out of her room and made my way back to the staircase. I rushed down the stairs and opened the door to hall B and rushed over to her door. I starred at her door for a good three minutes before I knocked.
I waited and no answer. I turned my head when I heard another door open. I smiled once I seen Astrid. She looked at me confused and then looked behind her. And then back at me.
"Can I help you?" She asked confused.
"I'm sorry?" I asked.
"Roman I'm so sorry! I didn't know it was you! Wait.....Roman what happened? Are you okay? No, sorry that was mean. I've never seen you with your hair like that before....But anyways, Faith isn't in her room. I think she's having a meeting with Ms. Collins and Gabriel," she said.
"No worries Astrid. Thank you for letting me know," I smiled.
"Did you want me to let her know you stopped by?" She asked.
"No it's fine. I'll just come by later," I said.
"Okay, imma go drop these off at the library. Would you like to come?" She asked.
"Sure," I smiled.
"Okay," she smiled back.
"Now that I look at you the hair really goes with it. It gives hot-emo vibes. I like it," she smiled.
"Really? Ash said the same thing," I said.
"Oof, Ash seen you? How was that?" She asked.
"Not good. You should've seen what I was wearing earlier," I said.
"Thank goodness she found you then. The outfit does seem like something she would pick out," she smiled.
"Yeah," I said.
We both walked to the staircase. I realized that I haven't had time to hang out with Astrid in a really long time. We used to study together for a while or just go to the library and talk about books that we've read. I feel bad for not keeping up with that.
"I apologize," I said.
"What are you apologizing for?" She asked confused.
"For distancing myself. I stopped our weekly meetings at the library. And I haven't really spoken to you as much as before. Not without the group at least," I said.
"You don't have to apologize Roman. I understand that you have other things going on. Besides, I ended up talking to Gabriel. He noticed me going alone and decided to keep me company," she smiled.
"You know it still surprises me whenever I see him in there. From what I know he wasn't really a book person," I said.
"He still isn't. Which is why he sticks to the same book for a while," she smiled.
I shook my head and laughed. We got to the library and hung out for a few hours. After a while she had to go meet up with Ash. I walked her over to the staircase and then went to the cafeteria to meet up with Tyler.
"Where've you been?"
"In the library with Astrid."
"I went to your room earlier and......what's with your hair?" He asked.
"Is it so wrong for me to try something new?" I asked.
"Mate that's not trying something new. That's called depression," he said.
