"It was pretty good. Different. But good," Roman said as he focused on the painting he's been working on for months.
"How was Christmas over in Japan?"
"Well instead of eating ham and potatoes, or in your case tamales, we ate fried chicken. Eating fried chicken on Christmas is apparently something big over there. And it's not your typical family thing. Well it is but it's honestly more of a couple holiday over there. So.....yeah. It was nice tho."
"How's the family?" I asked.
"Their doing pretty good. My mom is close to publishing her seventh book. My dad's business trip in Japan went really well. And my sister......well she brought home a boyfriend who she's been seeing for months now," he rolled his eyes.
"How is that possible?" I asked.
"Apparently they met at a party at one of her friends house. He was visiting a family member in LA. He went to the party with that family member and met my sister. So they've been doing the long distance thing. And he flew over for a week around November and no one bothered to mention it to me. The guy is cool don't get me wrong. I'm just upset that no one cared to tell me about him. Especially my dad who can't keep his mouth shut."
"Do you have a picture?" I asked.
"Yeah."
"By the way what's your sister's name? I don't think you've told me."
"Ramona."
"I'm not surprised," I laughed.
"It's part of the whole twin thing."
He pulled out his phone and showed me a picture on the guys Instagram. My eyes widened. And I looked up at Roman and then back at the picture.
"Your sister.......your sister is.....she's dating him?" I stuttered.
"Yeah?" He raised a brow.
"YOUR SISTER IS DATING HIM?!"
"Yes! What's wrong with her dating him?" He asked.
"He's fine as hell! And she met him at a party? What kind of parties does your sister go to?"
