THE PAST MONTHS HAVE BEEN HORRIBLE FOR SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD NINA VALKIN. Her surrogate father (the nickname was a gag from Happy, but it kind of stuck) Tony Stark, was dead. Heartbreak is inevitable when both Peter and Nina two grieve Tony in hushed, private times - yet somehow, that tragedy had brought them closer.
Now, all Nina wants to do is to have a normal teenage experience. Well, as normal as a part time Avenger could have. But with her mother missing, her undefined Situationship with Peter Parker, coping with the loss of Tony, her Avenging duties, her part time job at Stark Industries, and with the recent news of Illiana and Samara breaking out of the Raft, maybe... just maybe... a normal life wasn't really for her.
So what's better to distract her from reality than a European Vacay, right?
Insert Peter Parker: a very confused teenage boy, whose only plan at the moment was to officially ask Nina to be his girlfriend in his very specific plan to woo her heart in Europe once he's helped her with all the bullshit being thrown into her way. But when the world is in danger as four massive elemental creatures appear, Peter soon finds himself donning the Spider-Man suit to help Fury and Mysterio; who, somehow, brings out the worst in both him and Nina.
