Third day in the Emergency Room

This time no more bloody encounters, just a plain and chillax day, and also a minor accident happened to patients coming in.

An old man limping because of a minor fall on the stairs. A kid who's been sick for 2 days and can't eat. A police officer got bumped in the gutter. A teenager had burned in the arms because of baking.

We have some chillax moments in the Emergency Room where Randy is happy and I'm not hearing him talk about his reklamo in life. As in he's relaxed and he's in the mood of flirting with other colleagues whether doctors or nurses.

"Ibang klase talaga si Randy kahit saan mo dalhin talagang may power. Umm."

"Doc bakit mag isa ka d'yan?" nagulat ako sa may likuran ko may babaeng bumulong sakin.

Napaiwas ako dahil kamuntikan ng dumikit mukha niya sakin.

I smiled and said, "Doc Kathy, ikaw po pala yan Ma'am." Si Doc Kathy ang Prof. namin sa OB. She's been practicing for almost two decades.

"Yes, ako nga. Mukhang gulat na gulat ka sa akin. Umm malalim ang iniisip? —Love life?" nakangiting tumabi sa akin si Doc Kathy sa bench na may pintura na sky blue.

"Umm no Prof. I was just thinking a while ago about Randy." Itunuro ko si Randy kasama ang mga girls sa may kabilang side sa tabi ng mga machines.

"Umm, what about him?"

"Look at him, he's enjoying the girls feeling like he's in the bar drinking beers and chatting with girls na ka-table. Ibang klase talaga 'tong kaibigan ko."

"Ahm what's wrong with talking and laughing with colleagues?"

"Nothing at all Prof. but I know his intention hindi pure hehe." smiling a bit kaharap kay Prof.

"Hindi ka ba nag enjoy talking with your colleagues?"

"Hindi naman po masaya naman po ako but not just that it's like you owning those girls."

"I can't understand. Can you tell me something more about that?"

"Naku naman si Prof. ang daming tanong lalo na ngayon magulo isip ko."

Sumagot ako sa kanya ng, "Umm it depends on the people I know kaya po siguro ganun na lang ang iniisip ko sa kanya. Para po kasi lahat ng place na pinupuntahan namin may mga ganyan syang eksena.

" Umm you have bad thoughts, hindi maganda yan kapag sinanay mo. You should think of others like yourself. A positive one that attracts your mind to the things that matter and trashes all that need to. Baka naman talagang friendly siya."

"Teka Tita ba ni Randy 'to bakit ganto magsalita parang kilala siya?"

"Sabagay po Prof. baka nga po negative lang po iniisip ko sa kanya."

"Yeah, always look for the good of others, okay. I heard that you have been classmates and friends since grade 1? Is that true?"

"Yes po Prof. Kaya kilalang kilala ko na po siya."

"Ahh, I see. I understand where those thoughts are coming from."

"Thanks, Doc for that inspiring advice. I'll keep that in mind."

May dumarating na ambulance. Lahat nagtayuan sa pagkakaupo at nag abang sa paparating na patient.

Sumalubong yung resident doctor sa mga rescuer.
