but he asks her for some space to hangout with his buds

he is scared of this word
ironically short but the meaning is too long for him to handle
the other woman doesn't know the meaning of detachment
while he is already thinking about a future without her

the other woman has separation anxiety
she waits hours for him to answer
while he is just aiming for reality
which is a future without her

the other woman is so scared about being without him
while he is just focused in smoking and getting drunk
daydreaming about a future where only he wins
and she knows that in the end her heart has got to sunk

the other woman is intense
she likes to dance in the rain
but he is afraid of lighting
she builds a boat
but he is also afraid of the ocean

the other woman likes adventures
she's carefree, she likes to be with her lover at anytime
while he is more reserved and enjoys the comfort zone
the other woman has to beg for him to scape

he gets tired of the other woman attachment issues
he gets tired of her intensity
he gets tired of the closeness and the seriousness
he daydreams of a simpler life where he doesn't need to try

the other woman knows he's going to leave
but instead of detaching, she's attaches even more
she starts to perceive him with another
but she does everything for him to not get bored

the other woman doesn't know how to behave
and she is tired of all the countless relationships in vain
she invested so much time building this boat with a veil
but in the end she sees him enjoying the ride with someone else
after he claimed he was afraid of the ocean
of the other woman he was afraid all along

This fear he has of the other woman arrives
because no maiden has given as much as her
and he was just in for the enjoyment of the moment
but he didn't plan to build something longer

that's when he pushes her away
the other woman isn't surprised, because she knows that that will always be her title
a hopeless romantic who will always lead the man she daydreams about to his dreamgirl

a girl who's skin shines in the sun flawlessly
a girl who is mentally stable
a girl who doesn't have to try because he's so wrapped up around her
that he finally gets out of the comfort zone
without being asked

the other woman will always be the journey
yet not the destination
she daydreams in the back of the bus
since her boat got taken away
that someday someone will arrive to the bus stop with her
even if the ride gets bumpy

the other woman looses hope
the other woman compares herself to the other maidens
the other woman thinks she loves herself
but once a man appears, she looses all she
built

the other woman gives all of her to not loose this person
while the dreamgirl doesn't have a simple flaw
in the eyes of the man the other woman loves
his dreamgirl is just like him
reckless and doesn't think about the future

ironically none of them were looking for something too serious
but that's what got them wrapped up into this situation
while the other women tried her hardest
and as always, she is and always will be the other woman
