Luffy's scars

Luffy and his team are seen walking through Vale as they're going back to their bedroom with all of them nervous while Luffy keeps on thinking about Arlong arriving to this World

Luffy: (Were any of my friends sent here too?)

Luffy could care less about his enemies he would just kick their asses once again but his friends he hopes had come to this world because he misses them

Ruby: Well, we're here.

They open the door, and they walk in as Luffy goes in and sits on the floor looking at them

Luffy: Ok so what do you guys want to know about me first?

They all look at each other and nod deciding to go from simpler questions to the more emotional questions

Ruby: How was your childhood exactly?

Luffy: It was good! Dadan and the rest always took care of me although they were bandits.

Blake: Bandits? Were they not evil?

Luffy: Yeah, they were bandits, but they took care of us plus they really aren't evil they were kind of weak Hehehe.

Yang: Us? Did you have siblings?

Luffy keeps his smile as he touches his straw hat

Luffy: Yeah, my brothers Ace and Sabo.

Ruby: They sound like cool people!

Luffy: Hehe yeah, they are incredible! They are strong!

Yang: Alright my turn! Where did you get the scar on your cheek?

Blake nudges her thinking that she asked something sensitive

Luffy: Oh, I did that.

RWBY: YOU WHAT!?

Luffy: It was to prove myself to Shanks!

Weiss: Shanks? Is he your crewmate?

Luffy: No, he's someone that saved me when I was a child and the reason, I wanted to become a pirate in the beginning.

Ruby: Saved you?

Luffy: Yeah, a group of pirates disrespected him and in anger I started to fight with them but since I was weak and small, I didn't do much. The captain that disrespected Shanks grabbed me and put me in the water were I almost died.

Ruby: You can't swim?

Luffy: No, it's because people that have eaten a devil fruit lose the ability to swim

Yang: So, it's very dangerous for pirates who are in the water their whole life, talk about a double edge sword.

Luffy: After that man got me, I almost got killed, Shanks came and saved me, but he lost his arm saving me all I could do was cry and feel scared. But now I'm strong! He also gave me this straw hat.

He grabs his hat and looks at it as he smiles

Luffy: I promised to meet him again and that I would have a stronger crew than him!

Ruby: Oh, tell us about your crew!

They all look at him with the rest wanting to hear about his crew and also a little curious of who Nami was and what her relationship with Luffy was

Luffy: Sure! First, we have Zoro, he's my first crew mate he uses three swords at a one time he's going to become the greatest swordsmen ever!

Yang: Three swords?

Luffy: Yep he puts one on his mouth so he uses three!

Weiss: Is that even possible?

Ruby: Well, Luffy is pretty strange so it wouldn't be a surprise if that is true.
