So, what did you think?

First things first, I have to say thank you to all of you for reading this story. It really means a lot. Tell me what you enjoyed or disliked. Hype me up or tear me down, either way it makes me happy to see people engaged.

Now to those that care, I know I've been koi with whether or not I will continue this story into future books like I had originally planned. Now, based on that final chapter, of course there will be another one, right?

No there will not. I'm done, goodbye.

Okay I'm just kidding lol.

YES, THERE WILL BE A 2ND BOOK.

I'm having too much fun not to continue this. Between honing my skills as a writer and adding to this awesome PJO community, I would be ashamed of myself if I didn't finish what I started.

Now, will it be coming out right away? No.

For those who might have discovered this story after the fact, I took a 3 year long hiatus before completing. I took it damn near at the climax of this story too. Cause I'm just built different.

But, in that time I've gown as a person and more importantly as a writer.

I did not plan ANY of this. And by plan, I mean the story itself. I just wrote chapter by chapter, with only the most basic outline stored somewhere in my chaotic mind.

Now if your a reader, that doesn't sound to bad.

If your a beginning writer, you probably don't think that's a big deal.

If you a practicing writer, that's terrible.

And while I'm impressed with myself for managing to create a mostly cohesive story with nothing but my noggin as reference, I feel I can do better.

Looking back at this story, there are certain ideas that I wished I could alter, change, or outright remove. I mean, I still could, but I won't cause ain't nobody got time for that.

So I plan to release the first chapter of the second book sometime later this year (2022).

Yeah I'm terrible. But in that time I'll work to craft a story that comes close to the standards I have for myself. That's thematically consistent and far more engaging.

And I definitely should seeing as I plan on bringing Percy and the gang into my next story, judging by the teaser chapter I gave you before wrapping this story up.

BTW, think of that last chapter as a teaser chapter. I may or may not add that chapter to the next story, depending on the changes I make as time goes by.

But right now, priorities.

So it's time to plug my other stuff.

My next video on YouTube is still cooking in the oven and I expect to release sometime in the summer 2022 (never commiting myself to a single date publicly again).
