"Wait- I need a second... or you can just... I'll just be waiting right......"

Gwen and I left Johnny in our dust as we raced after Jason and his new monstrous friend. The wolves were easy enough to handle. Gwen simply picked them off one by one from the roof of the wolf house. She was a way better shot since she didn't need to aim through a reflection of a rear view mirror. We went after Jason once we noticed the army of Venti above us.

I raced slightly ahead of Gwen, stumbling over tree branches and pushed passed bushes. The sounds of thunder ahead of us and the wild winds blowing behind us propelled us foward. I could imagine Jason nimbly transversing the forest, even with his eyes closed. I hope he had the sense not to go to far out....

Gwen's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "Up ahead! Looks like a tornado's forming!"

Her prediction was confirmed. The powerful winds forced Gwen and I to stop. I stabbed my sword that I borrowed from Johnny into the ground to keep myself steady while my braided hair unraveled. Gwen wrapped her arms around me as the wind picked up. Branches ripped off of trees, bushes were stripped of their leaves and small animals that were too slow to seek shelter flew into the vortex.

The forest was stripped away bit by bit by the sudden storm. I gritted my teeth and held on with every last bit of my strength, but I could feel the sword shaking towards the vortex. I felt so helpless. There was nothing I could do to stop this storm besides praying to Jupiter himself too......

"Gwen!" I shouted over the storm.

Gwen held on tight to my waist. "What!"

"Hold on to the sword! I'll be back!" I shouted as loud as I could.

Since speaking was hard enough in this powerful wind, she did as I said. "Where are you going?!"

Ignoring her question, I dug into my pocket and pulled out the whistle Sam had given me too call Scipio, his Pegasus. I carefully placed the object into Gwen's hand, only letting go once I knew she had a grip on it. Gwen looked me in the eye, her hair whipping wildly in the wind, expecting an answer to her question. Instead of answering her, I showed her. I let go, letting the winds pull me in too the angry vortex.

*********

"Ugh, you." Medusa said in a disgusted tone.

"Yeah, me." Responded the voice ahead of me. A voice I recognized.

"Dylan? Is that you?" I asked the person ahead of us,my eyes still sealed shut.

Dylan grunted angrily. "Yes it's me, you dimwit. I'm happy that I reformed so fast. I've imagined in great detail how I'll-"

"Stop," Medusa interrupted. "I have no interest in hearing your threats and promises of revenge. I've heard enough from that Wet dog."

Dylan chuckled. "Medusa, your tongue is as sharp as ever. But I'll keep it under control if I were you. Our master is really upset with you."

Medusa scoffed. "You mean YOUR master. He and I share similar goals, but I am not some pathetic servant that carry's out his will."

Dylan let out a howl so sharp that my ears popped. I felt the winds picking up around as, as the Venti that had appeared earlier began to reveal themselves. The wind reacted to the will of the storm spirit's, forming a vortex around us. Medusa's snakes hissed angrily, no doubt fighting against the harsh winds that circled us. Even in the eye of the storm, it was hard to breath.

"I said watch your tongue!" Dylan said, his voice echoing around us. "You can turn any man or monster into stone, but not us storm spirits! We do not need to see you with our eyes to know where you are or what you are doing! So I'd suggest you keep your mouth shut!"
