CHAPTER 52

Mason is the worst and I mean like terrible
He's a crawling teething baby
He's the absolute fastest crawler ever and he cries forever
And it's hard on all of us attmittedly Jaden helps so much with Mason
He's become a sort of comfort for Mason
Quinton and Jaden both can stop his tears in a instant and cooper don't get me started Mason and cooper are like partners in crime
They skate and swim and watch tv together masons become just like him they eat together and love the same shows
Like if I can't find Mason he's either with cooper or crying at coopers door

Anyways he has grew in his front two bottom teeth and there so cute a little and he bah's all day and his two top front teeth are 90 percent there like there falling down a little more but the two on either side are coming too so he has officially 6 teeth four top 2 bottoms
And he bites my nipple every time I feed him
And it hurts so bad so we've cut back even more like I rarely do I just pump forever
Anyways I'm on a flight back from New York
I've been there for the past 4 days and it's the worst I mean it like actually I miss my son I never thought I could miss someone so much but I do
And not just Mason but quinton too I miss him so much but I carried this baby for 10 months and now I'm missing him for 5 days
And I feel bad making Jaden and quinton and cooper care for him
And jadens going on tour soon which I'm so happy for him

Anyways
I have about 7 hours left and a layover so I won't be home until tomorrow early in the morning
Quinton called
Me: hi what's up
Quinton: oh my god you will not believe what just happened
Me: why what happened
Quinton: mase said his first word
Me: what!
Oh no no no no I missed it
Me: awh no what did he say
Quinton: we're laying on the couch watching coco melon me and him we're home alone and he crawled up pullin my shirt and just goes " mama"
Me: ahw I missed it
I had watery eyes I can't believe I missed it
Quinton: I can get him to say it again.
He flipped the camera
Quinton: mase say mama
Mason: mabla
Quinton: say mama ma ma
Mason: ma
He pushed his butt up smiling with his few cute little teeth
I was like full tears on this plane
Quinton: cmon say mama
Mason: mama
He bounced his butt
Mason: mama bahg
He said mama. Ahwe 🥹
Quinton: good job mase
He flipped the camera back and I was crying
He pulled masons head up
Quinton: look mase there's mama
Masons hand grabbed his phone
Mason: mama co

Quinton: say dada
Mason: mamama
Quinton: no dada
Mason: goob
Quinton: okay now he's just shit talking
He said making me chuckle
Quinton: what's wrong
Me: nothing nothin
Quinton: are you on the plane
Me: yeah I'll be home tomorrow
Quinton: mkay well have a safe trip we'll be here when you get back
Me: mhm
Quinton : bye love you
Me: love you too bye
I hung up and literally cried for the whole 3 hours until the layover
I kissed his first word
And it was mama too
I can't I just I've failed my baby
He's 8 months old and we're trying for another or we want another in 4 months
What am I gonna do
I've done a terrible job with Mason I'll do even worse with another one
Idk I don't wanna think about it
We had a hour and a half layover

And finally got back on the plane
And flew to lax.
I got off and hopped in the car service and they took me home
It was maybe 7 am when we pulled up to the house and I went inside
Ofcourse the house was very quite
Although milo started barking
Me: hi boy
I sat in the floor as luna came attacking me
Me: hi luna
I gave them each rubs as milo got all comfy in my crossed legs and luna laid on her stomach licking my hand as I rubbed her neck and ears
Me: I missed you babies
I gave them each a kiss on the head and laid milo on the couch
Me: cmon loons
She jumped up on the couch and I laid a blanket over them
I went to masons room admiring him asleep I missed him so much and I decided to wake him up
He was laying on his tummy and I rubbed his back until he woke up and I picked him up holding him like a little little baby he's getting so big it's almost unbelievable
He started babbling
As I rubbed his little head
Mason: mama
Me: good morning baby
Mason: Bahn
Me: I love that too
I moved him up to my chest letting him sleep
On me
I went to my room and found quinton asleep
He looked as if he was sleeping peacefully
But the door shut a little too hard and he rolled over
In a raspy little voice he spoke
Quinton: your home?
Me: mhm
I came and kissed him
Quinton: come lay down
Me: I will let me change for a second
I went and peed and put on pjs while holding Mason I didn't wanna put him down
He started crying and I went to the freezer and gave him a teether and he calmed down
I went back to the bedroom and laid down beside him
Quinton: how was it
Me: good I guess
Quinton: yeah? They treated you okay
Me: mhm
Quinton: gimme real answers I haven't seen you in six days
He pulled my shirt
Quinton: what'd you do
Me: um I shot for 12 hours everyday except Tuesday Tuesday we went out to get pizza and it was pretty good
Quinton: yeah
Me: abs we went around the city it's pretty cute there We should take Mason when he's older
Quinton: yeah
Me: and I had this cute little apartment and yeah
Quinton: sounds fun
Me: mhm what's y'all do
Quinton: we went out to eat every night me and Mason and Jaden spent some time at the studio and he almost like banked the whole little computer setup off the desk he loved cords
Me: awe
Quinton: we watched coco melon a bunch and octonauts
Me: yeah
Mason was sucking on a bottle on my shoulder
Quinton: he cried a bunch and not just from missing you he kept saying Oop Oop which I think is coop
Me: awe where was cooper
Quinton: he stayed with Sabrina
Me: ahw
Quinton: yeah and he's teething a lot his top teeth are completely in now the next two on either side on the bottom plate coming
Me: yeah
Me: I hate that I missed his first word
Quinton: well don't worry cause I was the one wiping his butt for a week and he's sayin mom not dad
Me: he'll say it soon and you won't miss it but I missed it
Quinton: but he'll say it again so who cares and he's been saying ma for a month
Me: yeah but it's like his first real word
Quinton still you shouldn't feel bad
Me: but I do I put work over him
Quinton: no Look it doesn't matter you'll be there when he says every other word and walks and stuff
Me: but what if I'm not and I'm out of town again
Quinton: just give yourself a break
Me: mhm
Me: I wish I took a little longer off of work then I did
Quinton: I don't know why it matters like yeah you go away for like a few days maybe or a couple hours but it's not like your gone every single day 7 to 7 or something you see him often and most the time your the one waking him up and putting him to sleep
Me: yeah
Quinton: your not like a shitty mom and just does nothing for him you do most like 90% for him
Me: mhm
