“Good morning, babe. . .” he said with his husky voice.
One week already has passed after that argument we had. After that we never talked about what happened.
He wants to explain to me everything but I declined. I don’t want to listen to him. I can’t.
Hindi ko kaya — baka kasi puro kasinungalingan lang ang sabihin niya, and I’m not ready to heard it yet.
I sighed and looked at Blaze, kanina pa ito napamasid sa akin pero nanatili lang itong tahimik.
His eyes said that he’s worried about me. Or baka imagination ko lang ito.
I am right, pagkababa ko ng hagdan ay masarap na amoy ang bumungad sa akin — then when I entered our kitchen I saw Blaze’ cooking for our breakfast.
For the passed few days he really did everything just to take care of me. Kaya in the end puro higa, upo at kain lang ako buong araw. But for me it’s good. I can rest. Wala akong ibang iniisip but only our baby.
“Hi, good morning again. Let’s eat!” bungad nito sa akin habang nakangiti.
I just nodded and sat infront of him. He cooked omelet rice and beef tafa.
I started eating silently without gazing at him. I’ve been cold at him for the past few days but he never complained.
“Hmm, Aly?” tawag nito sa atensyon ko.
I looked at him, waiting him to speak. He coughed and drink his water first before speaking.
I can see how his adams apple move. Damn, so hot.
I shook my head. Kung ano-ano iniisip ko.
“Can we go out today after we eat? I mean, let’s go out to date? Tutal, wala naman tayong gagawin and I want to take you somewhere. . .” he said.
I want to say no but I can see to his eyes a determination. Umaasa siyang oo-o ako.
“Please?”
Should I say yes?
Saan naman niya ako dadalhin? Somewhere far?
“O-okay. . .”
His smile widened and mouthed ‘thank you’ to me. I just nodded and didn’t talked again.
I’m wearning a simple white dress, two inches above the knee — kitang-kita ang malaki kong tiyan pero hindi problema ’yon.
