2022, May 19 - Seokjin (Taehyung Was Arrested)

[Place: Hospital]

Taehyung stares blankly at is hand. I better tell him now. The problem with Namjoon was that I paid the hospital bills secretly. It seems like the better idea to just be direct this time.

"Taehyung-ah, you might really dislike this, but I'll paid the hospital bill for now. And I'm not outright paying it, you can think of it as borrowing-."

"Thanks, hyung." It's the first thank you I've heard from Taehyung. The exchange is shocking to me but separately not to him. "I'll pay back all of it. Thank you."

"Yeah."

Could this be... Could this be the beginning to solving Taehyung's problems? I think it should be safe to leave after saying goodbye today. I'll just watch to see what he makes it into his building safely.

(A/N: Outside the hospital)

"Oh? Hoseok-ah?" I run into Hoseok as I walk out of the hospital.

"Seokjin hyung? What are you doing here?"

"I came to visit."

"Is it Taehyung-ie?"

"How'd you know?"

"I stopped by Taehyung's work and didn't see him, so I called him right away." I get an answer ready because I'm sure Hoseok will ask about Taehyung's abeoji next, but... "Is Taehyung alright? He must've been so shocked." He worries about Taehyung first. Taehyung seems to comes first for Hoseok. "He cares a lot about his abeoji."

"Taehyung does?"

"Yeah. Even though he says that he doesn't want to go to home all the time, he always makes sure his abeoji gets a real meal every day. Even if he just eats convenience store snacks himself."

I didn't know. Is that so? Is that why he always wanted to head home? Because he was worried about his abeoji?

Hoseok seems to know Taehyung's sincerity better than anyone else. But... What if he asks more questions about why I'm here? Do I need to come up with an excuse about why I'm here and how I knew Taehyung's abeoji was injured?

"I'll call Taehyung now. See you, Seokjin hyung."

"Huh? Oh, yeah..." I worried for nothing.

Hoseok wraps up out conversation and continues walking towards the hospital. "Ha..." Exhaustion overcomes me as soon as the tension eases up.

I trudge my way back home, thinking about what I need to do next.

[Place: road]

Taehyung seems to be used to things like helping his abeoji walk. They walk steadily forward, with Taehyung skillfully supporting his abeoji's weight. But because Taehyung's abeoji raises his voice every time he almost falls, I can only watch with bated breath.

I didn't know in the previous loops, but Taehyung's consideration for his abeoji is deeper than I expected.  Then, I guess the reason why he tries so hard to go back home on the 20th is because he's worried about his abeoji, who's just gotten out of the hospital. But all he sees is violence towards his noona when he arrives. He probably couldn't stand it any longer

I watch Taehyung and his abeoji walk further away.

"... I'm going to stop it this time, no matter what."
