2022, Aug 2 - Jungkook (They Were In It Together)

[Place: school]

My phone rang. It was Taehyung hyung. He said Seokjin hyung had texted, and we should all meet at our classroom.

I put down the phone face down on the desk and picked up the pen again. I was in an afterschool study class. Everyone was quitely working on their workbooks.

I'd come to school, thinking the school would be better than my stifling home, but it was boring here as well. I had my own problems to work out, though --- what had happened that day. Was it really Seokjin hyung? Did everyone know it? What I thought to be completely preposterous suspicious were becoming real. The dent on hyung's car bumper and the lies my friends told me --- thinking about these my head, I blackened a notebook page with a pen.

"What's wrong with him?"

"Who cares. Just don't talk to him."

I hear the others whispering. It had bothered me at first, but soon I became immune to it and didn't care.

When I happened to turn my eyes to the window, I saw my friends coming past the gate. They were dark silhouettes, but I knew right away. Namjoon hyung was in front followed by Jimin hyung, Taehyung hyung, Yoongi hyung and Seokjin hyung.

They knew what kind of person Seokjin hyung was, but they lied to me and were in it together.

I pressed my pen to the notebook. The page became so black that were no spots of white anywhere.
