[Place: Hoseok's rooftop]
Hoseok hyung's house was up on the hillside. It was the rooftop room of a dilapidated multi-family building at the end of a dead end. The dead end was through a narrow winding alley away from the main street and up a long, steep climb. That was where he lived. When we entered the room, hyung bragged that it was on the topmost floor of the city with the rest of the world placed at his feet. He was right. This rooftop had a view of everything. When I looked straight down, I could see the train station and containers standing in a row along the railroad. Namjoon hyung was living in one of those containers. Just a little away off was the school we had attended together.
While looking at our school, my line of sight reached a point across the river. A large apartment complex was perched at the foot of the mountain. That was where my house was. No, it was where my parent's house was. I had escaped the hospital without any plan. The hospital must've contacted my parents, and they must be looking for me by now. I didn't have the courage to meet them face-to-face yet. I couldn't go home. I had nowhere to go and no money. Hyung told me to follow him and led me here. That was how I ended up at hyung's house. I looked over at the apartment complex again. I have to return there someday. I have to meet my parents and tell them I'm not going back to the hospital.
I inhaled deeply and Hoseok hyung came close and stood next to me.

(A/N: This is likely more-detailed than the above version. I just cut the missing not-narrated yet.)
We entered the house, a single room being its entire composition, as he boasted about how this was the top floor of the city and every place we grew up in was now under our feet. True to his words, I could see a lot from the rooftop. A train station not far away, containers lining up along the railway.
I left the hospital but I couldn’t come home. It didn’t mean I want to go back to the hospital. Yet, I had nowhere to go and no money to use.
Seeing me standing hesitantly, hyung told me to follow him and led the way. And here we were, at his house.
I took a deep breath. It felt like just the mere thought of it could trigger a seizure in me. Truthfully, even I couldn’t believe, that I would be able to endure it somewhere else other than the hospital.
And an intolerable fear struck me.
