[Enter Nightveil, the sun softly sets upon the ruins of an ancient cathedral lost to time. Eager to show she is worthy of Ninus' respect and trust, she begins to come up with a foolproof plan to achieve their goals]
Nightveil [aside]: What's so special about this 'Alessandra' anyways? just some dumb kid prancing around with those tree-hugging weaklings. We could definitely take them on. I don't know why Master chooses to sit around and wait? This is the perfect opportunity to show I am worthy.
[Nightveil rests the palm of her hand against one of the crumbling columns as it slowly breaks away into the lake residing below, her crow flies over and rests along her forearm]
Nightveil: [to the crow] What do you think? should we do it? [hesitates] but we might see her...
[The crow stares blankly back at Nightveil]
Nightveil: Not right now, Ninus demanded that I seek out others who share our vision. There is strength in numbers, if we rally more to our cause we can put it all to rest, ash and cinders, that is what the Dhush will become.
[Nightveil turns her head to her side and begins to speak]
Have you tracked him down yet?
[The Shadow Seeker manifests in front of her]
The Shadow Seeker: He has learned to cover his tracks well. He will be cautious after his close encounter with death.
Nightveil: Somewhere far, that is my guess, perhaps even to another continent. [pauses to gather thoughts] but not so far as to be nestled deep within a foreign land... a port perhaps? somewhere his face would not be known, a place he could momentarily escape. Worth a try no?
The Shadow Seeker: The Constructor's orders were clear, rally those to our cause.
Nightveil: And defeat the assassin, no priority was specified right? besides, what better place to find like-minded folk than a Port run by the ruffians and outcasts of the mortal world?
The Shadow Seeker: You would draw too much attention in Balfonheim, untrusting of those who shroud in hoods and mask their appearance.
Nightveil: It would get rather stuffy in all of this anyways, it is a five day journey, go tell Ninus of my plan. It shall not be a wasted journey, I feel it.
The Shadow Seeker: The Constructor does not appreciate wasted time
Nightveil: [mutters to self] yet he's happy to sit around and wait another decade.
[Exeunt]
