[Balfonheim Port -Underground Sewer Network, Enter Clyde Arrowny as he retraces his steps through the networking tunnels]
Clyde Arrowny: You've been rather quiet
Shadow #1: This is your fight.
Shadow #2: To prove your worth.
Shadow #3: For her... or for you?
Clyde Arrowny: Well that wasn't a good example now was it? that stupid girl comes along and ends up dealing the killing blow. I mean, how the hell did she find me so quickly? was she following me? I'd like a heads up in future ya'know?
[From the corner of his eye, Clyde Arrowny notices a glint from down the end of the passageway. He immediately reacts and pins himself behind a corner, narrowly missing a lethal shot as it chips the corner of the wall]
Shin-Ra Infantry Captain: Clyde Arrowny. Drop your weapons and surrender, we will cease hostilities upon fulfilment of this request.
Clyde Arrowny: [aside] I've gotta be fucking dreaming?! there weren't any security cameras in there, how did they find me?
Shin-Ra Infantry Captain: We will give 30 seconds to come out and surrender!
Clyde Arrowny: [takes a bow from his quiver and readies his bow] they were seconds away from blowing my head off and now suddenly I'm wanted alive?
Shin-Ra Infantry Captain: [quietly signals an attack squad to move down intertwining passageways to flank both Clyde Arrowny's exit routes] don't make this more difficult than it needs to be.
[Clyde Arrowny hears faint footsteps approach from the winding passageways from both sides, the path in front still has a sharpshooter aiming directly at his last known location]
Clyde Arrowny: [aims and readies to fire down the left passageway, the steps sound closer in this direction] is this the end?
Shadow #1: Say the word.
Shadow #2: And our strength is yours.
[Suddenly there is a shouting from the right passageway and infantrymen open fire as painful groans and grunts can be heard as the shots slowly die off]
Shin-Ra Infantry Captain: CEASE HOSTILITY OR YOU WILL BE FIRED UPON!
[Clyde Arrowny quickly turns keeping his bow drawn, now facing right, his back turned to the unknown threat on his left, a silhouette becomes visible from the corner, growing larger on the tunnel's wall as it approaches]
Clyde Arrowny: [under breath] that's right, you just keep walking.
[Enter Baram with a smug look on his face as he cracks his knuckles with one of the fallen infantryman's batons hanging from his belt]
