As Alessandra and Clyde part ways, she is now left under the care of the Duhsh Elves while he continues on the path of vengeance. The story of what happened in the seven year absence until their next fated meeting remained unknown, until now.
[Duhsh Woodlands - Lnilth's Cave. A stream of water pours down into the cave from an opening, running across the rocks before meeting a hidden pool. Within the cave lies Lnilth, a frostback dragon that Alessandra Zalori befriended three years ago during her encounter with Clyde Arrowny. With Solitara only days away, Alessandra Zalori feels the pressures of the ceremony weigh on her mind. Seeking comfort, she returns once again to Lnilth's cave]
Alessandra Zalori:[whispers] Lnilth? It's me, Alessandra, nobody followed me this time, I made sure of it!
[Lnilth remains curled up, resting in a bed of grass and flowers, his deep snorts form powerful rings of clear smoke. His ears begin to twitch at the sound of Alessandra Zalori's voice. He opens his eyes slowly, his gaze fixing on her]
Lnilth: Ah, Alessandra... is that you again? [slowly raises head up] The planet's cycle approaches, and Solitara's shadow falls upon Valanya, does it not?
Alessandra Zalori:[nods] mhm, everybody is so busy with the preparations, it's all a bit too much. Alenia is so busy I can't even bother her with my problems.
Lnilth:[snorts] So you have come to bother me instead?
[Alessandra Zalori grins as she skips over to Lnilth, before resting her back up against his neck]
Alessandra Zalori: Exactly!
Lnilth: Have you at least finished constructing your staff?
Alessandra Zalori: That is sort of why I'm here. I've chosen a heart for the staff but not a base.
Lnilth: That has to be a first! Most elves struggle with finding a heart! not a base, not found a branch of your liking yet?
Alessandra Zalori:[shakes head dismissively] It's not that, it's just, you know how the tradition is, the base is gifted by the male guardian, usually their father, grandfather, an uncle, even a brother in certain circumstances. [sighs] Alenia hasn't exactly given me much guidance on what to do about the base.
Lnilth: What about that foolish chap you spared me from munching on?
Alessandra Zalori: Oh, Shadow? that would have been amazing. But I don't think I'll ever see him again.
Lnilth: Your life is just beginning and you've already accepted the most bitter of outcomes? Come now, you can achieve anything you wish for in this world with the right approach.
Alessandra Zalori: You think so? [leans head back to look up at Lnilth] hmmm, well! what would you wish for?
Lnilth: I am content with life here, these lands offer peace and security to a dragon, there is little that exists in this woods that can hurt me.
Alessandra Zalori: Do you think I should leave here someday?
Lnilth: If you can find a life full of love, happiness, comfort and be content with what you have? no. But we both know you yearn to see the worlds throughout Avrulux.
Alessandra Zalori: For the first time, as long as I can remember, somebody cares about me here. I don't want to lose that by leaving here.
[Lnilth reaches his tail back, coiling it around a sturdy branch that has grown from within the rocks of his cavern, pulling it loose. He brings it forward, dropping it gently on Alessandra Zalori's lap]
Lnilth: The choices we make in life do not push away those we hold dear.
[Alessandra Zalori picks up the branch, examining it attentively as a smile forms across her face. She stands up, turning towards Lnilth, wrapping her hands around his neck in an embrace]
Alessandra Zalori: [aside] A male guardian, of course. [to Lnilth] Thank you Lnilth, you always know how to make me smile.
[Exit Alessandra Zalori]

(Lnilth - A Frostback Dragon. Native to the Duhsh region, Lnilth has remained a close friend of Alessandra Zalori due to her ability to converse with creatures of high intelligence. The species is often mistaken as a 'flightless' dragon due to the female's inability to take flight.)
