Ninus: Why do you hesitate my friend? I am not angered by your failure, merely displeased with it.
[Nightveil steps forward, quickly bowing before Ninus believing she is at his mercy]
Nightveil: Forgive me Master, I have no excuse, he was vulnerable, unaware and is powerless without the aide of the the shadows. I had every advantage needed to destroy him and I failed you.
Ninus: Come now my friend, there will be other opportunities.Remember, this plan does not depend on him in the slightest.
[Nightveil lowers her head in shame before Ninus]
Nightveil: You requested this of me, with faith I would see it through.
Ninus: Your paths will cross again, that you can be sure of. The girl still remains our objective, she is the key to our salvation but a key that is impossibly out of reach to us for the moment.
Nightveil: How much time must past before we can get this key? The world around us is changing rapidly, it will not wait for us.

Nightveil: [Nightveil raises her head, not pleased with what she has just heard, though cautious to lash out] So we must wait years as she becomes stronger and more aware? This is the perfect time to strike while she is vulnerable!
Ninus: I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity, this plan has been set in motion before you even took your first breath. I sense fear in you, do not let your personal attachments to the situation blind you.
Nightveil: Forgive me, I only wanted to make you proud, I am eager to see you succeed, forgive me for my lack of understanding.
Ninus: Rise...
[Nightveil rises without a moment's hesitation, her head remains slightly lowered in shame]
You are strong, you have potential and I have bestowed onto you a gift of true power. The girl will be no match for you should the time come you must face her. She will be the key that opens the way to the Yggdrasil, it will be back in the hands of our people. Maybe someday even she will understand the suffering we endured. If only Alenia wasn't so spineless, I know she feels the shame we live with each passing day. I hope we can work together, as one, someday again. Like our ancestors before us.
