As Alessandra and Clyde part ways, she is now left under the care of the Duhsh Elves while he continues on the path of vengeance. The story of what happened in the seven year absence until their next fated meeting remained unknown, until now.
[The Kingdom of Luminara - The Grand Cathedral. Enter Nightveil as she stands before the burning cathedral. Clergymen and worshippers alike lay lifeless at her feet. Scanning the area momentarily, as if reflecting on her actions, she approaches the altar, kneeling before it, her head lowered in submission]
[A dark shadowy presence begins to manifest atop the altar, the figure forms a loose silhouette of an individual, shrouded by an intense darkness]
Ninus: Has it been taken care of?
Nightveil: Yes my Lord, all who were not of our kind were struck down.
Ninus: The Shadow Seeker has informed me of your ruthlessness, you did not even spare the half-blood.
[Nightveil momentarily looks away in shame]
Nightveil: It is as you said, there can be no mercy for those who do not share our vision.
Ninus: 'Our vision' [laughs aloud]. Tell me Nightveil, do you share this vision?
Nightveil:[shakily] I did as you asked. The elderly, the women, the children, the holy men. None were spared.
Ninus: Yet you're trembling, you lack conviction.
Nightveil:[raised voice] I have done everything you have ever asked!
Ninus: Then complete the task at hand. The prince is the key at achieving our objective here. Go to the courtyard beyond the palace's walls. I sent Malaika to retrieve the prince, though I fear his fiancée has 'complicated' matters. Kill her.
Nightveil: I thought they were to be on our side? we're to be united, us elves I mean.
Ninus: Our dear king has had, well. Let us just call it a change of heart. We're going to pursuade him to reconsider his position.
Nightveil: Of course... I will proceed as instructed my Lord.
Ninus: I want results this time. Slaughtering fleeing civilians is one thing but don't think I have so easily forgotten your failings with the assassin. I grow tired of seeing her weakness in you.
[Nightveil keeps her head lowered, as the shadowy apparition fades, taking the form of the Shadow Seeker. Nightveil returns back to her feet]
Nightveil:[to The Shadow Seeker] Not a word from you.
[Exeunt]
