[Balfonheim Port - Quayside Court, A large port town located on a far off continent, ruled by pirates, bounty hunters and thieves, the port stands independently from foreign rule and is oftentimes seen as a safe haven for those needing a second chance at life. Enter Clyde Arrowny as he orders a drink in search for a place to rest and gather his thoughts]
Local Bandit: [To Clyde Arrowny] oooooouch! you got swindled hard.
[Clyde Arrowny hears the bandit speak in his direction before realising it was directed at him]
Clyde Arrowny: [aside] If I ignore him maybe he'll get the hint, guy must take me for a sucker.
Local Bandit: You?! a sucker? never!
Clyde Arrowny: [aside and confused] I'm pretty sure I didn't say that out loud, who is this guy?
Local Bandit: Yes you didn't say anything out loud, you're not going crazy handsome. I'm just real good at reading your type. Let me guess, came here until the heat back home cools off a lil? Oh! oh! and you've got that snooty noble look to you so I'm guessing... you've ran away from the high life and think that THESE are your people?!
[Clyde Arrowny puts his drink down calmly and looks towards the man, he's a similar age to him, with blonde hair, a rough goatee and multiple piercings and tattoos, his clothes are dirty, old and lightweight, fitting for a thief looking for a quick escape]
Clyde Arrowny: Stick to the petty thievery because that was well off, but hey [cockily grins at him and holds up his golden dagger] next time you take it, I'll cut your fingers off.
Local Bandit: How did you?! [The bandit looks in astonishment at Clyde Arrowny] you gotta show me how you got that back! that's seriously impossible man, no way!
Clyde Arrowny: It'll cost ya.
Local Bandit: Maybe I was wrong about you... [holds out hand] name's Baram, I'm local to this place. How bout'... I show you how to make a name for yourself here... uhh...?
Clyde Arrowny: Kuraido... [Clyde Arrowny looks at his hand extended for a shake and ignores it]
Baram: Kuraido? hmmm... doesn't suit you well.
Clyde Arrowny: Right? tell that to my parents.
Baram: You're just in time by the way, the bounty board is going to be updated any minute now but you got to act fast! the thing is totally cleared in seconds! and don't even think about stealing somebody else's target unless you want to be the next one up on it!
Clyde Arrowny: Much monsters get posted on it?
