Seeing things—shadows that slithered in corners, twisted figures with hollowed-out eyes, whispers that didn't belong in the human world.

It had been happening since she was a child.

Then, one day, her grandmother had given her that necklace.

And just like that, it all stopped.

Her throat tightened.

"I... don't know what you're talking about," she muttered.

Gojo tilted his head, a knowing smirk playing on his lips.

"Liar."

Her stomach clenched.

"You do know," he continued, crouching in front of her once more. "That necklace wasn't just some pretty little gift, was it?"

She refused to answer because—one of the biggest secrets of her life had just been exposed.

Shock spread across her face as her grandmother's words echoed in her mind.

❝Promise me not to tell anyone about this. Not Mommy. Not Aki. Especially not Daddy! Just you and me, okay? It's our little secret. This necklace will keep those ugly things away from you, Y/N. Never take it off, alright, honey?❞

❝Okay, Nanna! Pinky swear!❞

Gojo exhaled dramatically.

"Welp, guess I gotta spell it out for you. That little stone you were clinging to? It was a seal, sweetheart. It was suppressing your abilities—keeping you blind to the world you were meant to see."

Her heart pounded in her ears.

"No," she whispered.

"Yes."

He was watching her closely now, studying every reaction.

"But don't worry~!" He flashed a bright, teasing grin. "It's gone now, so you're totally screwed!"

Her blood ran cold.

He was right.

Her chest—this unbearable pain, this heat, this change—it had started the moment he ripped the necklace away.

The only thing that had ever given her a sense of normalcy.

A bitter laugh escaped her lips.

"So, what? I'm just doomed now?"

Gojo tapped his chin, pretending to think. "Doomed? Nah. Transformed? Yeah, kinda."

She let her head fall back against the tree, eyes staring at the night sky.

Her whole life had just crumbled in a matter of minutes.

"...You're enjoying this way too much," she mumbled.

He laughed. "Well, yeah. It's hilarious."

"But really, how do you know all this stuff?" she asked, still struggling to believe that some random blindfolded weirdo had figured out what she'd kept hidden her entire life.

"It's obvious. Also, I assume something really bad happened on your sixteenth birthday."

He didn't need confirmation. Her face said it all—pure shock.

"Yeah... I collapsed for four months," she admitted.

The moment she said it out loud, her expression changed—like she'd just opened a dark abyss beneath her own feet.
