"Y/n...?" Mud and blood covered her whole body. At first sight, it looks like Sukuna hurt her, but the misshapen wild animals around her prove the opposite.

"What in the hell are you doing?" That barely recognizable glaring face makes this whole thing hard to believe. I approached her with caution and protected her from the rain with infinity. Anger tears streamed her cheeks, and no answer came back, which left me in total awkwardness and incomprehension.

"What's with all these slayed animals?" After striving to just stand on her feet, she stumbled to reach the house, so I supported her.

"Will you say something?" The hot water inside the tub relaxed her body but not her spirit as she remained silent.

"Can you not come back again?" And this is how I was kicked out of my own house.

"I won't leave hence." Her stare said that she'll be the one to leave, which I cannot allow after she developed such a weird hobby.

"What happened to the best creature won't happen to the worst creature I hope?" You were the only one to answer my dumb questions in the exams. Didn't you say that animals are the best and humans are the worst? To say I'm using it against you... but it's the only reminder of yourself not long ago.

I've never ever witnessed such expressions down someone's face before. A cold stare with slightly teary eyes filled me with guilt and regret about what I said.

"Will my answer determine if you'll kill me again or not?" I had to kill you several times but I couldn't, yet you never miss a moment to remind me of it. Won't you ever trust me, y/n?

"Not me." They gave Yuta an order to not be healed by her to officially be her executor. I want to say that to warn her but she might take it as a threat or... she'll make a step on him and make the higher-ups' wish will come true.

"Yuta, huh ?" She looked down with defeated expressions.

"Smart girl!" I cheerfully pointed at her. You're hemmed in, y/n... another tiny mistake would make you fall once and for all. Am I able to confront Yuta and the jujutsu world to save you? Stupid question...

"I'm willing to protect you from anything and anyone, including me. But I can't protect you from yourself." Just like when I've failed to protect Suguru and lately Yuji and Megumi. The urge to know what happened to the animals wasn't enough to make her talk.

"I'll often come to check on my house." Hope there will still be a house... Hence, what can lift me up is a single glance at her. When I visited her again, I found her doing the same thing as last time.

"At this rate there won't be animals in this country." She's losing weight, dark circles larger than before. Her phone rang before I could comment about her health. With a shocked face and without hesitation she picked up. She didn't say a word, only gaping her eyes at me while listening to the caller.

"Stay there, I'm coming." She hung up.

"Let's go to Tokyo. Now." Obviously I wanted to ask why but I'll see everything. The moment I opened my arm, y/n hugged me tight. To be useful to the person we adore is a special feeling. As we floated high in Tokyo's sky, we immediately shifted inside a building. I couldn't feel her between my grasp anymore.

She was on the stairs with a familiar woman. Blood oozed from that woman barely able to sit down. Y/n healed her and supported her delicately.

"Have I lost my baby..?" Y/n shook her head and now I recognize that girl, it's Sana's woman.

"I healed both of you."

"Please... I don't want false hopes, I need the truth."

"I'm telling the truth. The baby is alive. It's all okay now, Izumi. Everything is alright." The girl broke in tears as y/n  hugged her. I approached to offer some help and picked Izumi up.
