Grian stared out of the window into the dark sky as Xanthe collected together various supplies.

"Thanks for this, Xanthe..." Grian said, still watching the stars twinkle and shimmer.

"Yeah... I've never really been outside of the Void, so it'll be good for me, too. Although, helping you and your friends is probably the number one priority right now." Xanthe said, throwing his bag over his shoulder and turning to face his friend.

"...How long do you think it'll take until she notices we're gone?" Grian asked.

"40 minutes... An hour at most. We'll need to rush through the town to the cliff, where you arrived. The magic levels there are heightened so it will be less draining for you. That will take about half an hour and the spell only takes a few minutes to cast so we should be okay." Xanthe answered, standing next to Grian and looking at the familiar star patterns.

"Yeah, unless someone sees you. If they see you out of the castle, they'll immediately tell the guards and the Queen will be notified within minutes! You need a disguise..." Grian looked around the room for some fabric to cover the 6'5 Admin prince.

Eventually, he found an old cloak which had a large hood to cover Xanthe's entire face.

He slipped the cloak on and put the hood up, ready to leave.

"... Alright. Here we go. You're still good at climbing, right?" Grian asked, opening the window and sitting on the ledge, letting his legs dangle over the 30 foot drop.

"I'm still decent. I've not practiced much after you left, but I think I can do it." Xanthe answered, joining Grian on the ledge.

"Wait! I need to grab a few things first! I'll be back in a minute." Grian said abruptly, swinging his legs back inside and standing up.

He ran out of the room and towards his own. He pulled the wooden plank up once more and grabbing the items that were under the floor. He shoved the journal and emotion sphere into his satchel and closed it swiftly. He sprinted back to Xanthe's room and made his way back to the ledge, sitting down beside his friend again.

"Sorry. I just had to grab some things... You ready now?" Grian sighed, turning his head to his confused friend.

"Yeah... Let's go." Xanthe answered, lowering himself over the ledge, hanging on with his hands.

Grian followed, gripping the ledge with all his strength. He let his feet rest on a crack in the brickwork and let his hand find another ledge to grab on to. Using this method, they both managed to get down in about ten minutes.

They were both exhausted but continued, making their way to the walls that surrounded the palace.

"I'll go over first and help you after, okay?" Xanthe said, gripping the stone wall and lifting himself on top. He sat on top and reached his arms down to Grian, who grabbed Xanthe's arms and was lifted on top, instantly.

"Since when were you that strong?!" Grian whispered, vividly remembering Xanthe struggling to pick up some of the other Admins around the village.

"I don't know. Probably just good genetics or something?" Xanthe answered, jumping down onto the floor.

"I don't believe you!" Grian retorted, following his friend.

"It doesn't matter, come on!" Xanthe said, running into the marketplace.

They rushed through people, knocking a few of the various vendors accidentally during their rush. Many people shouted at them as they passed and others glared at them judgementally. Some assumed the worse and cowered away, thinking they were criminals or thieves.
