Reira's POV
I see clearer I think clearer. How did I forget? All my friends my family, how did I forget them. I missed everyone. The way they still accept me and love me is a blessing. Alsono's smile is warm and bright. The way Choji holds her hand and looks over at her is melt worthy. Ino's strange stories make me laugh. But mostly... Shikamaru is still here. He's still with me after everything. I lost all my memory of him, and yet I remember everyday seeing him and wondering about him and then waking up one day to see him, looking relieved and overjoyed. All because I opened my eyes.
Shikamaru holds my hand. It's warm. My chest heats up and my heart goes fast. I want to ask him. But then I don't. I don't want to ask him yet. I'm confused. But I'll ask one day. Maybe.
