"Zoro!" I shouted as he hit the ground, dodging the ladder Ms. Monday swung at him, "Alright, that was too close." He said and I let out a breath of relief. Ms. Monday threw the ladder behind her as she glared at Zoro and slid her brass knuckles on her hand, "It was a good effort, but there is no man who can best my strength." She snapped and reached down.
She grabbed Zoro by his throat and lifted him up, "Now you die, Swordsman. And Ms. Halloween, we will have a talk about your betrayal." She snapped pointing at me. She lifted Zoro up higher as he struggled to breathe while she crushed his throat. I watched in horror, as Ms. Monday slammed Zoro down on the ground hard, making him grunt in pain.
"Taste my superhuman Brass Knuckles!" She shouted and landed a hard punch. The ground cracked under them from the blow, but Zoro managed to get up and, in the blink of an eye, he was standing over Ms. Monday menacingly with his hand on her face. She was on her knees screaming in fear and pain as Zoro glared at her,
"What's the matter, muscle woman? Didn't you want to pit your strength against mine? Ha! Well, I guess you lost." He said, his face dark and his voice low. Ms. Monday released Zoro's wrist and fell on her back with a hard thud as I stared at him, "Unbelievable." I said softly and Zoro smirked at me.
He glanced at the rest of Baroque Works with a confident smile, "Is that all you can offer, Baroque Works?" He asked, "Cause you're gonna need to do a lot better then that." He added.
Baroque Works stared at us from below, Igaram watching me with concern on his face as Zoro walked towards the edge of the rooftop we were on, I should be afraid of him, but, I'm not. His skills, and the way he handles fights, are just impressive, I thought to myself as I watched him.
"It can't be! He really beat Ms. Monday! No! It's just not possible!" The agents shouted as Igaram gasped, "Now it all makes sense! The Marines must have made a mistake on that poster." Igaram said and Mr. 9 joined him, "It does make sense! I can understand why this guy would have a Thirty Million berry bounty put on his head. He must be the real captain of those pirates!" Mr. 9 said.
"Yeah. He must be...it seemed strange that, that weakling would fetch such a high price." My sister said. Igaram nodded, "Even if this guy is the real captain, this is getting disgraceful. The boss put us in charge of this town, and he's not going to be very pleased if we lose to one measly pirate and a traitor!" Igaram snapped. I swallowed as I walked up beside Zoro.
My eyes met Vivi's and she spoke, "Well then, looks as if, we finally get to fight." She said. Mr. 9 met Zoro's eyes, "Something you may not know, in Baroque Works, the smaller an agent's number is, the greater their power, as well as their rank in the company. Take the three of us, Mr. 8, Mr.9, and Mr. 10, for example. Mr. 8 and myself are single-digit agents, and Mr. 10 is at the border of single and double. And don't forget Ms. Wednesday and Ms. Halloween, though she's proven to be untrustworthy. Our abilities are much greater than the riffraff you've been fighting against so far tonight." He finished and smirked at us in amusement. I looked at Zoro, "They aren't kidding, Zoro, they are much stronger then you think." I warned him and he grinned at me, "I like a challenge, Evelyn." He said smirking.
