Chapter 118

Shae's fake smile faded, "Actually, no I haven't." she admitted as she rubbed the back of her neck. The monkey smiled, "You just watch us till your heart's content!" he said. Nami smiled, "That's that. Now, we just have to wait and see what happens." Nami said. The monkey began raging after hearing someone was in the water and I sighed as I facepalmed, "Those guys." I groaned as Nami ground her teeth, "I'm gonna kill 'em." she said, "You may not get the chance." Usopp mumbled. The monkey looked at us, "Listen up, you!" he shouted at us and I shuddered, oh boy, I thought to myself. Yami tensed up in front of Robin and began snarling again.

"There's someone else down there, so be careful!" he warned, loudly, "Oh, sure." Nami said shakily and laughed with Usopp. The monkey turned to his crew, "I want all hands setting the cradle! The ship comes up in 20 minutes!" The monkey demanded, "We got salaving to do!" he yelled as his crew cheered. He looked back at us and smiled as he waved, "Okay, he's waving at us." I said, "Smile and wave back. I guess. Just act normal." Shae suggested, "Doing my best." Usopp answered. The Monkey looked at his crew, "Don't get stage-fright, fellas. They're observers. They want to see something new. So show them how it's done." he instructed his crew.

"If you're still nervous, try picturing them in their underwear." he added and his crew got to work on salvaging the ship, "These guys really take their salvaging seriously, don't they?" Usopp asked. Shae shook her head, "I think they're just showing off because their captain has a crush on Nami." Shae said, smiling in amusement and I giggled, "I bet so." I agreed and we laughed together as the captain shouted orders to his men.

A few minutes passed, when we heard Luffy shouting from his suit, "What was that?" and Shae quickly covered the speaker, with a nervous smile as the captain looked at us. I covered Zoro's speaker, and Usopp cover Sanji's and Jax's as we watched the salvagers, the captain watching us, "Uh, so why such a big monkey?" he suddenly asked, making me and Shae facepalm in unison, "There on the bow of the ship." he added quickly. The monkey looked at the figure head, "Oh, that." he said and laughed, "You like?" he asked, "It's a special prow I designed. It aids in our salvage. Just watch." he said, smiling proudly as we all sighed.

"You're gonna love this! Lower the Barco Hunter!" he suddenly shouted at his crew. The figure exited the ship on a ropeway as the crew chanted.  Once it was away from the ship, it lowered itself into the water, "Wow! Awesome!" Chopper exclaimed, "Completely amazing!" Usopp joined in. Nami looked at them, "Are you kidding?" she asked them. There was a moment of silence before the captain spoke, "Excellent! Now it's time for me to blow!" he said and blew into the object in his hand, "Wait. There's no way." I said in shock, "He's actually gonna use his breath to bring that ship up?" Nami asked and Shae nodded, "Seems that way. But how?" she asked.

"That's ridiculous!" they said in unison. After a minute, he stopped blowing and looked at his crew, "Alright! Haul her up!" he instructed his men. We watched them as they worked to bring the ship back to the surface, all of us dead silent, "Let's hustle men! Send more air!" he shouted. Suddenly, one of his crewmates spoke, "Captain! There's a problem with the underwater crew!" the pirate yelled, "What? Talk to me! What's happening down there?! Is it the intruders?" the captain yelled.
