I took his hands in mine, "Zoro--" I began, but he cut me off, "Don't say it, Evie. You don't deserve a life on the run from Marines." he said

"I don't care if I deserve it or not, Zoro! It's what I want." I said and Zoro leaned in close, "Do you really think you want to live this life? Constantly running from the Marines, not being able to stay in one place long? You life constantly in danger, with death lurking around every corner? You could die at any moment, do you really want that?" he asked, "Yes, I do. But, I also want to be with you." I said softly. Zoro's eyes widened before he shook his head, "No you don't, Evie. You have a future here, but you won't have one with me." he stated.

I shook my head, "Zoro, you cannot be serious." I said softly and he nodded, "I am, Evie. We are completely different, with different destinies. Your destiny is to rule this kingdom, mine is to become the greatest swordsman." he said. I felt tears sting my eyes as I stood up, "I understand, Zoro." I said softly. I looked away as the tears spilled over, "Evie, come on. And grab Kell along the way, he should be present as well considering your future together." daddy called back to me. I sniffed, "Yes sir." I said and walked away without looking back at Zoro.

Once the speech was over, guards were sent to retreive the Straw Hats. Despite Zoro's words, I found myself by his side that night while he slept after being treated. I was in a chair holding his hand as I watched his peaceful face. The rest of the crew were all sleeping soundly in their beds, with my twin sitting by the window to watch the rain, "Evie, don't take his words to heart. I'm sure he only said those things because he wants to keep you safe." Vivi said softly. I nodded, "I know. I know he didn't mean them, and I know he was trying to chase me away. But that won't change how I feel." I admitted and Vivi smiled at me.

"You love him, Don't you, Evie?" she asked softly and I nodded, "Yeah. I love him, Vivi," I admitted softly, "with all my heart." The door to the room quietly opened, catching mine and Vivi's attention, "Princesses, what are you both still doing up?" Igaram asked with Kell beside him. Vivi smiled, "Oh, hey, Igaram. Hey, Kell. It's nothing." Vivi answered. Igaram and Kell closed the door behind them as they approached us, Igaram beside my twin and Kell beside me.

"Still worried about your swordsman, I see." he remarked. I nodded, "I always am." I admitted and Kell smiled, "Luckily, his injuries weren't too serious. Hows your wrist?" Kell asked and I looked at my right wrist, "Better, since it was rebroken. It doesn't hurt like it did, and that's nice." I said with a small smile as I looked at Zoro again, "Now, I just want him to finally wake up." I added softly. Kell rubbed my back, "I'm sure he will wake up soon, don't stress about it, Evie." he said and I nodded.

"There was a moment of silence before I spoke, "I wish I could go with them." I admitted and Kell blinked, "Like, become a pirate?" Kell asked and I nodded, "Kell, you know how I feel. I don't want to be Queen, I want to be a pirate and join the Straw Hats." I said and he smirked, "Join the Straw Hats to be one, or join them to be with the Swordsman?" he asked and I felt my face heat up. I was slient for a while, and Kell chuckled, "That silence is all the proof I need." he said standing up, "Get some sleep, Evie. You need your rest." he said and I looked up at him, "I will in a minute, I promise, Kell." I answered as he and Igaram left the room.
