Chapter 15

We watched as Luffy kept charging at Zoro but Zoro only defended as he tried to get Luffy to listen. I looked towards Ms. Valentine and Mr. 5 as Luffy and Zoro passed in front of us; they were charging at me and Vivi. We gasped in unison but then I exhaled in relief as Zoro kicked Luffy and sent him barreling into Ms. Valentine and Mr. 5, "That was pure luck." I deadpanned as Zoro sighed, "That dumbass." He grumbled.

I walked over by him, "Is he always quick to assume the worst?" I asked Zoro and he nodded, "Yeah, but that's just how Luffy is." He said. Suddenly, the building Luffy was kicked into exploded, "Oh no! I hope he's okay." I said. Before Zoro could answer, Ms. Valentine shot out of the roof, "Now I'm really annoyed!" She shouted and twisted that umbrella of hers,

"I hope you're ready to experience my Kilo Kilo Fruit power!" She shouted and laughed maniacally, "Prepare to be smashed into a thousand tiny pieces a hundred meters in the ground!" She shouted.

I grabbed Zoro's arm, "Zoro, you have to get out of the way..." I tried to warn him but Zoro looked at me, "Be quiet and get back, Evie." He said and gently shoved me back towards Vivi as Vivi gasped. I reached her side and looked at Zoro, who didn't look back at us as he spoke, "I have more important things to worry about right now. Evie, you and your sister just stay back." He said and I silently nodded. In the distance, I spotted Luffy walking out of the rubble, dragging a nearly unconscience Mr. 5 alongside him, and patting his now skinny belly. Vivi and I stared in utter shock at Luffy who was unharmed, "He...he fought Mr. 5...and won?!" we exclaimed in unison.

"He took out one of Baroque Works' best agents!" Vivi gasped. Zoro was looking at Luffy with a serious face as he and Ms. Valentine both began speaking at the same time, talking over each other. Ms. Valentine got tired of them ignoring her and shouted louder, "Hey! Pay attention to me, you jackasses!"

"You're just lying! Enemies wouldn't give us food, would they?!" Luffy shouted as he and Zoro completely ignored Ms. Valentine's screeching. Ms. Valentine began falling towards Zoro as Zoro sidestepped, causing Ms. Valentine to crash into the ground, "Fine then." Zoro said as he pulled his bandana off of his bicep, "It doesn't look like there's any sense in trying to talk to you." Zoro tied his bandana to his forehead, " You know, you're really a moron." he insulted as Luffy growled. I sighed, "Great, they are back at it." I grumbled as Vivi watched them silently.

"This time, I'm not going to hold back. It'll be your own fault, if you die." Zoro warned him as Luffy waved his hands in the air, "Sounds good to me!" Luffy shouted. Vivi blinked in confusion, "Just a second. What's going on here?" Vivi asked the two pirates as Zoro pulled a sword out and placed the handle in his mouth, "I thought you guys were on the same side!" she added as Zoro pulled out his other two swords.

I looked at my twin, "What is going on with these numbskulls?" I demanded in annoyance as their attacks connected, sending out a shockwave. We watched them begin their fight, shouting out their moves as they did so. Zoro sent Luffy flying into the air, but Luffy came back with a hard right on Zoro's head. Both men crashed into buildings from the attacks and I sucked in a sharp breath, "That had to hurt." I groaned as dust cloud bellowed into the air.
