Chapter 90

We raced through the city as fast as we could, "Hey! Please tell me you guys aren't planning to run all the way to Alubarna!" Usopp called, "We got Eyelash." Nami reminded him, "Just where the hell is that stupid camel, anyway?" Nami added, "Maybe we should get some horses." Luffy suggested, "This town is crawling with Marines." Shae reminded him, "Not to worry, look ahead." Sanji said and we all glanced ahead. We saw Chopper riding in on a Moving Crab, "Hey, guys! Hop on!" Chopper called, "Chopper!" Nami called smiling as the crab stopped in front of us.

"All aboard!" Chopper called and Luffy grinned, "We get to ride it?" Luffy asked excitedly. He stretched his arms and grabbed the crab's eye, "Pleased to meetcha!" Luffy said. Zoro, Vivi, and I stood on one of its claw's and the crab raised its claw up to its head, "Say hello! He's Eyelash's friend!" Chopper informed us as the walked off the crab's claw and onto his head.

"Eyelash has lots of friends in this area. Because it's his hometown; he was born and raised here. He's nice but kinda pervy." Chopper explained as Zoro and I sat down side by side. I laid my head on his shoulder as Chopper walked over, "Let me see your wrist." he said. I handed him my wrist, which he examined, then he dug in his bag. He pulled some stuff out and made a quick splint, "This will only work temporarily. We will need to rebreak it once this is over so it can heal properly." he explained.

Once the splint was on, Chopper went back to the reigns, "Okay! Time to move out!" Chopper said. The crab took off running at full speed, heading East. I looked at my twin and smiled, "We are so close, Vivi." I said and she nodded, " Almost, Evie." she agreed. My eyes widened as I saw Crocodile's hook shoot towards us, "Vivi!" I cried. I jumped up and ran to her, knocking Vivi away. The hook embedded itself in my back and I cried out in pain as Crocodile began pulling me off the crab, "Evie!" Vivi and Zoro both shouted, "Chopper, stop the crab!" Zoro yelled.

Chopper stopped the crab and Zoro lunged forward, grabbing my hands, "Hold on, Evie! I got you!" Zoro called to me. Luffy reached us and removed the hook from my back, getting pulled away in the process, "No! Luffy!" Shea cried. Zoro pulled me close to his chest as Chopper ran over. I could feel myself losing conscienceness, as Shae was screaming for Luffy.

I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes, "Evie!" Vivi sighed happily as she appeared in front of my face, "How do you feel, Princess." Sanji said softly from beside me. I looked to my right to see Sanji smiling down at me and I smiled back, "I'm sore, but otherwise, I'm fine." I assured him. I tried to sit up and Sanji placed his arm against my back, helping me sit up. The first thing I saw was Shae beside Zoro, her head on his shoulder and her arms wrapped around his arm. Zoro was looking down at her as tears ran down her face. I felt jealousy well within me at the way Zoro was looking at her, Does he actually love Shae? I wondered. 

Suddenly, something else came to mind and I gasped, "Where's Luffy?" I asked panicked. Zoro looked at me and Sanji spoke, "Crocodile has him." he answered, quietly. I looked at Sanji, "I hope he's okay." I said, avoiding Zoro's eyes, as he watched me, "Evie, are you alright?" Zoro asked and I nodded without looking at him. Sanji noticed and smiled at me as he leaned close to my ear, "It's not what you think, Evie. Zoro has been with Shae and Luffy the longest. Shae and Zoro are best friends, but that's it." he said. I pulled my ear away and looked at him as he finished, "She feels most comfortable with Zoro when Luffy isn't here."
