Chapter 12

I ran to the other edge and Zoro followed me, "What is it, Evie?" he asked and I froze as Igaram fired at them, "Igaram!" I shouted and Zoro looked at me, "You will not lay a hand upon our princesses! Not while the captain of Alabasta security still stands!" he shouted and Zoro gasped, "Princess?" he asked me.

Vivi looked up and saw me, "Evie!" she cried, "Vivi, run!" I shouted down to my sister. Mr. 5 spoke from the smoke, "Igaram, captain of Alabasta security and Princess Nefertari Vivi, of Alabasta kingdom, We have come here in the name of the boss of Baroque Works, to see that all four of you are eliminated. Where's the other two?" he asked.

Zoro looked at me again, "You are a princess, Evie?" he asked. I nodded, "Thank you for your help, Zoro, but my sister needs me." I said and dropped down, "Evie!" Zoro shouted as I pulled my sword out and landed on my feet in front of my twin.

I cried out in pain and Vivi gasped, "Evie!" she said worry in her tone. I glared at Mr. 5, "Ah there she is, Princess Nefertari Evelyn, the third target. Where is your friend? Your protector, Kell?" he demanded. I held my sword ready, "I won't let you harm my sister." I snapped.

Igaram began firing his guns again, "Don't, Princess Evie! You and Princess Vivi need to escape!" he shouted. I bit my tongue and put my sword away, "But Igaram..." I protested. Mr. 5 flicked something towards us and Vivi grabbed my hand pulling me back as the explosion connected with Igaram, "Igaram!" Vivi and I cried in unison. 

"Don't bother." laughed Ms. Valentine from above us. She dropped down towards us, cutting my hair tie and freeing my blue hair as I dodged. I pulled my sword out quickly and swung my sword, protecting my twin and trying to kill Ms. Valentine.

Ms. Valentine laughed as she dodged my sword and I glared at her as she landed beside Mr. 5, "Dirty monsters." Vivi growled from behind me. Mr. 9's voice came from behind Vivi, "You mean you're really princesses, Ms. Wednesday and Ms. Halloween? Oh wow!" he exclaimed and I glared at him, "Very busy princesses right now, Mr. 9!" I shouted. 

"Princess Evie, Princess Vivi." Kell said as he entered the field and I looked at him, "Kell." I said as Kell came to our side. I heard Igaram groan from the ground, "Princess Viv, Princess Evie.." he groaned and we all looked at him, "Oh, Igaram. You're hurt." Vivi said softly as we all three reached him,

"Vivi, Evie, please...forget about me. You both must get away from here. For our...homeland." he wheezed out, "If either of you were to be harmed, Alabasta Kingdom would suffer. Please princesses, you both must hurry." he said. Kell looked at me, "I taught you how to use a sword, Evie, so use it. I'll keep these two busy." he said. I looked at him and nodded, "You got it, Kell." I said.

"If you both think you can escape from us, you're mistaken." Mr. 5 said. I pulled my sword out again, "Lets see if you can take us!" Vivi shouted as she pulled her own weapon out, "Wait, Vivi!" I shouted and grabbed her hand. Mr. 9 stood up as he grabbed his bat, "This whole princess thing is pretty confusing, but we've been fighting together for a long time, so get going. I'm going to buy you both some time for a head start." Mr. 9 said. Vivi looked at him, "Thank you, Mr. 9." she said. I pulled on my sister's hand, "Come on, Vivi! Lets go!" I shouted as Mr. 9 ran towards Mr. 5.
