The door flew open and the cook ran out in a panic, "Hey! Mr. 8, Ms. Monday! One of them escaped from the room when we weren't looking!" The cook said in a rushed voice.
Vivi sighed in exasperation, "He's over there." She remarked. Igaram was glaring at Zoro, "Sneaking wretch! You should've stayed asleep with your friends!" He snapped and Zoro smirked, his beautiful eyes on me, "A good swordsman never makes the mistake of letting his guard down-plus, I took a nap earlier." He said and I giggled at his words.
Zoro tore his eyes away from me and looked around at the others, "Judging by the scowls and cheap disguises, I'm guessing you are all bounty hunters. Your specialty is robbing drunk pirates who fall for your hospitality...Its original, I'll give you that, at least." He guessed and his eyes roamed over the area surrounding us, "I count 100 of you scumbags, give or take. And I'll fight all of you, you hear me, Broque Works?" He demanded and I looked at Igaram in surprise.
A shocked looked crossed Igaram's face, "How do you know our name?" He demanded as he glared at Zoro and Zoro looked at him, "I was in a similar line of work once upon a time. Your company tried to entice me with a job offer. Naturally, I said no. Do the same rules still apply? Emplyee identities kept secret, cheesy code names. "
"The boss's identity and whereabouts- also a mystery. Broque Works: the criminal group that faithfully carries out their orders-like herded sheep. Hmph, thats some secret." He remarked and I giggled again, trying to hide my face. Zoro saw me giggling and smirked at me, almost like he knew I wasn't a real member of Broque Works, which he would be right, of course.
My sister and myself were only here with Igaram and Kell to find a way to save our Island, Alabasta, from the leader of Broque Works. I hated having to do what I've done for the past two years, and I certainly didn't want to continue for much longer. Especially since I found myself connecting with Zoro so easily, though, I knew it was over. There was no way he would trust me or anything I had to say anymore, not since he caught all of us talking out in the open. I looked at the other members of Broque Works, wondering if he could really beat all of them by himself like he claimed.
Igaram spoke to Zoro as I looked at Zoro again, my eyes roaming over Zoro again, "This is a surprise... if you know all of our secrets, then we are left with no other choice but to kill you. And another gravestone shall be added to the cactus rocks tonight." Igaram said and I ran over to Igaram,
"Wait, Mr. 8, don't do this! We don't have to kill him, we really don't!" I exclaimed, panicked. Igaram looked at me, "Why do you insist on protecting him, Ms. Halloween?" He demanded. I looked at Zoro and met his eyes as he watched me, "I... Because...his bounty! It'll drop won't it?" I pointed out and Igaram looked at Zoro again.
Vivi was confused by my reaction, but also worried, "Don't do this. You will be killed with him." She murmured to me and I looked at her, "I don't care! I just don't want him killed!" I argued. Igaram shoved me away, "Kill him!" Igaram shouted and everyone gasped as we stared at the now vacant roof,
"He...disappeared." Vivi whimpered in shock. I looked towards the roof and gasped as well, "He really is gone." I said softly and sighed in relief with a small smile.
