'How did the black pearl sink? Where did they go?'

'I dont know. She doesnt know. Its a sore subject. I wouldnt bring it up.' Tyrion informed him

'Right of course. She lost everyone. She met sansa though. When she was at kings landing? Sansa didn't mention her though.' Jon said thinking about sansa back north, safe.

'No she wouldnt. She wasnt thrilled with kat as kat wasnt thilled with sansa' tyrion told him

'No?'

'No. Kat is not a fan of starks. Of any kind. After sansas mother shipped her off... their interaction was less then civil.' Tyrion informed him.

'Oh i see..' jon said slowly

'But you are not a stark.' Tyrion reminded him 'She was intrigued to meet you'

'I got her letter' jon said smiling.

'What did it say?' Tyrion questioned

'You mean you dont know?'

'She slipped it in as it was getting sent off. No one but her knew.' Jon pulled it from his pokcet

'Ahoy' tyrion read aloud. 'She went all out.'

'Sure did. But this is what made me want to come. To see her to meet her even if it was a trap by your queen.'

'Kat likes you. You passed her test' Tyrion told him.

'Test?'

'With jac. When you first met her. You didnt judge her. You smiled and talked to her. You passed kats test. Had you failed she would be less than wonderful right now. Hell she might have requested the dragons burn you alive.' Tyrion told him and jon looked to kat playing with jac and the little wooden wolf toy.

'Your joking?'

'She is deadly protective of jac. She hates everyone that treats her poorly. That hate sticks. Pirates hold a grudge to the grave. Kats grudge against catelyn stark for instance. Seeing sansa i think she saw catelyn in her and that made her want to hate sansa. The daughter she loved vs the daughter... the niece she abandoned.' Tyrion poured another glass of wine. 'Kat loved her life at sea though. So its a different kind of hatred. She loves jack. Big jack. And her crew. She was second in command of the mightiest pirate ship in all the world!' Tyrion went on.

'I never heard of it or jack sparrow' jon told him.

'You simple minded brain washed boy!' Kat declared

'Are you always listening?' tyrion questioned

'Possibly. It's a good trait to have when searching for treasure. People are likely to have loose lips when they think no one is listening... anyways,' she turned to jon. 'The world is vast and wide and extends past the seven kingdoms past westeros and the narrow sea, past to tortuga and london and-

'Youve been past? And there was more than oceans and desert?'

'There is a great big world out there with still places i have yet to discover. I still plan to go everywhere to show jac everything everywhere. One day.' She told him

'Swim first' Tyrion added.

'When kat was first brought on the black pearl she was being tossed around and they accidentally threw her in' Tyrion said with a smile on his face. He knew kat didn't like this story.

'As jack says i was flailing around like a kitten in the water. Ass hole. But he jumped in and saved me, taught me to swim by shoving me in the fucking water to drown again at first but now i swim better than a mermaid. Those bitches are fuckers too. Demonic!' kat yelled.

'Fuck fuck' jac repeated.

'Hell yeah, fuck fuck the mermaids!' kat laughed.

'Tyrion said that was how you got your scars' jon said looking her legs. He hadnt meant to say that it just slipped out

'Oh you like my scars?' She stuck out a leg to him. 'I do. They remind me that im trouble.'
