Q Grey, 12:00am
While Salima was asleep, I walked Capri back home and made sure my baby got in safe. Didn't need nun happening to ha and I was gone make sure of it. Tonight was actually crazy.
For the first time I showed not one but two girls how vulnerable I could be. One I didn't even know and the other I couldn't believe I opened up to all the way.
It was like everything in my life was taking a toll on me and I had to let it out. I couldn't keep it bottled up no more. Always wanting to seem tough in front of Eli and not being able to tell Jen any of this wunt cutting it no more.
So in a way, I was glad I let it all out.
Now, I was finally back home. I was sitting on Eli's couch half asleep, trying to stay awake until he got home. Salima had been beside me out cold. Sleeping like a baby. Them drugs will do that to you though. I knew she was having some good dreams too.
I almost gave in and fell asleep on this couch but the sound of a car pulling into the driveway, woke me all the way up. Nigga Eli was finally home. Now I could get in my bed and go the fuck to sleep. Think I was gone miss a day a two of school just to catch up on sleep honestly.
That night club situation had me all the way fucked up.
A few moments went by before Eli finally put his keys in the door and walked in the crib. I could hear him mumbling under his breath like he'd been rappin a song.
Then I saw his feet come down the stairs and walk into the living room. Turning the lights on, he gasped, shocked to see me awake.
"What's crackin?" He yawned.
"Yo." I nodded.
Walking over to the couch, he dapped me up and took his jacket off.
"How was she?" He asked, pointing over to Salima.
"Same ole, same ole. She played GTA, smoked, did her C and shit. Shawty shot heroin up ha pussy too." I sighed. "All on an empty stomach."
"Welps."
"How was the deal? You made some bread?" I questioned.
"Yeah. It wunt much but I'll cut you a piece." He answered, taking a stack of money from his jacket pocket. Then he counted it and handed me a quarter of the proceeds.
"Only made round 1.5k and that's after I handed some to Trey and Mari fa helping. I thought tonight we was gone make big bank for sure. It was another club but it was dead as hell. You win some, you lose some I guess."
"Yeah I guess. But thank you. I appreciate it."
"No problem. I appreciate you. You be holding it down Q. Ion tell you this enough but you be my right hand. Don't know what I'd do without you."
Sucking my teeth, I waved him off. "Man youn gotta say all that."
"Nah bro fa real though."
"Well you're welcome. I do what I can, you know. You my bro and I love you. Fa real."
"I luh you too lil bro." He smirked.
Taking a deep breath, Eli sat beside me on the couch and took his shoes off. Then he leaned back, turning the tv up.
It wasn't loud but loud enough to make Salima wake up. And when she did, she looked like she'd been off a perc. "Hiiii guys."
"Sup witchu." Eli nodded.
"Nothing. I'm thirsty."
"We got bottled water in the fridge." He told her.
Standing up from the couch, she pulled the wedgie out her ass crack then patted Eli on the head.
