Capri Grey
one week later
I couldn't stop staring at the rock on my finger and our official marriage certificate that just came in the mail. The ring was so big and so pretty. This had to be the nicest piece of jewelry Q's ever gotten me. Quite honestly. Couldn't believe it. I was Capri Grey. I had this niggas last name now.
And everyone had been so happy for me. So supportive. My mom, my brother, Emmy, Brenda, and Q's side of the family. Sending us newly wed gifts and everything. It was literally a dream. My mom already started planning the wedding.
She was talking about how we should do it in fuckin Japan and have fuckin elephants carrying the rings and shit. She was too much but I mean anything was possible.
It took me a while to realize it but a big wedding wasn't my ideal wedding. I thought I wanted it at first but I honestly just wanted a vibe.
Something medium. Nothing too big but not too small. I was sure I would think of something when the time came. But for now, I was gonna enjoy the hell outta being MRS. GREY. Got him his ring too. He loved it and that's all that mattered.
"Bae! Way you at?" Q shouted from the front of the house.
I came running after him, ready to hear what he had to say. "Yes, my love. I'm coming!"
He planted a kiss on my forehead then my lips as I approached him. Then he squeezed my lil behind and smacked it real hard.
"I gotta surprise fa you." He smirked.
Rolling my eyes, I smiled at him. He was 'surprising me' all week with a bunch of shit. Literally gift after gift and I couldn't get enough.
"What is it now?" I smiled.
"Aight. Close ya eyes and hold ya hand out." He nodded, raising his eyebrows.
I squinted my eyes before closing them. Then I held my hands out and wondered what it could be. I felt an envelope in my hand but couldn't really tell what it was past that.
"Aight open em."
Opening my eyes, I saw that I was right. It was an envelope but I couldn't tell what'd been inside. So I opened it and to my surprise, two plane tickets to Bora motha fuckin Bora had been inside.
"No you didn't!" I squealed.
"I know you've been wantin to visit an Island. So I asked my mama and she helped me pick out the perfect place. Count this as our honeymoon. We gone be there fa a week and a half." He smiled. "You like it?"
"I fucking love it!" I exclaimed.
"And that ain't even the best part." He laughed. "But we'll get to that when it happens."
"When do we leave?!" I exclaimed.
"Tomorrow."
"NIGGA, TOMORROW?!" I shouted, almost dropping our tickets.
"Yeah." He shrugged.
One thing about Q...HE WAS GONNA WAIT TIL THE LAST MINUTE TO TELL ME SOMETHING. I don't know why he always did that.
"Bro..."
"Nigga I'm yo husband. It ain't bro." He spat.
"Shut the fuck up. Why didn't you tell me sooner?! Now I gotta call my job and tell them I gotta family emergency a sum shit. Then when I come back, I'm gonna have a crazy tan."
"Then tell them the family emergency was in Florida." He smirked, trying to kiss on me.
"You know...you're something else. But I can't be mad at you. You're taking me to Bora Bora." I smiled letting him kiss on me.
