I liked car rides with Q. No matter how short they were, we always seemed to have fun in the small amount of time we rode around.

But I couldn't help but notice...he was circling around the block multiple times. Cause I feel like we could've been at his place already...It only took 2 minutes to get there.

But I didn't mind it. I actually liked it and chose not to say anything. I just couldn't help but wonder why he was stalling.

But honestly, those were the least of my worries. The thing with my parents was more than fresh in my mind. It was going to take a few more of Q's words to cheer me up.

He really did make me feel better. Like he did earlier. I was hoping he could do it a second time. Especially since I was nervous about meeting his aunt.

I didn't know why she scared me. She seemed sweet, but what if she didn't like me? Maybe it was because Micah's mom didn't care for
me too much. With her emotional incest ass.

I was praying she wasn't like that. And with every turn we made, my stomach filled with butterflies.

"You think I should've worn this?" I asked Q, fixing my skirt and pulling it down.

"Nah. My aunt gone trip. That skirt is way too short. She said past ya knees a nothing." He shrugged.

"WH- WHAT?!"

He started to laugh while shaking his head and
rolling his eyes. "She not gone notice the skirt. Ion know why you so nervous baby."

I shrugged my shoulders, playing with my fingers. "Can we get something to eat? You know, before we get there?"

"She cookin food in the crib. You forgot lil homie?"

"Oh...yeah." I sighed, realizing that was the reason we were going in the first place.

As we drove around in circles, I took deep breaths and shook my leg uncontrollably. I've never been this nervous meeting a boyfriend's parents. AlI I wanted to was make a good impression.

"Look, you want sum to calm ya nerves?" He questioned, looking over at me.

I looked over at him, nodding my head.

"Reach in the glove compartment and roll us up one. I figured we could smoke a luh sum fa we eat."

"I thought you ain't like the way I roll up?" I scoffed, opening the glove compartment.

"I don't but I need to smoke. Nigga ain't get lit since yesterday mornin." He sighed.

Reaching in the glove compartment, I pulled out a small bag of weed, just enough for one blunt, a backwoods, the grinder, and his lighter.

The one I got him of course with my face and name plastered all over it.

Placing everything on my lap, I got to rolling for the both of us. Taking my time with it and really trying. Even with this small gesture, I wanted to please him. Make him smile at the way I rolled for him.

And when I was finished, I handed it to him for inspection. He EYED that blunt, trying to see if I did it right this time. And when that boy smirked, I lost it. I felt like Cassie when Nate noticed her for the first time.

I was DOWN BAD.

"Whatchu waitin fa? Spark it up." He sighed, handing it back.

"Did I do good?" I questioned.

"Better than I could. But don't forget you learned from the greatest." He smiled.

The way I felt butterflies in my stomach was unbelievable. I wanted to jump for joy in this car. His approval was everything to me.
