Sky woke up to an empty bed, and the smell of pancakes cooking. She got up slowly and sleepily walked into the kitchen.
"Mmmmh, smells so good in here," Sky drawls, and walked up to the kitchen counter.
"It's already seven, my body is so used to getting up before six that I wake up at six and freak out that I am late for work, you didn't get that?"
"No, all I smelt was pancakes, plus I knew we didn't have to work so subconsciously my brain figured, what the heck, just sleep until you smell something cooking," Sky replied. Mason kissed her forehead and pushed her towards he other room.
"Go change, breakfast will be ready in a couple of minutes."
"Fine, don't start without me," Sky warned and walked backwards slowly while pointing her finger in his direction like a warning, which made Mason chuckle slightly and shook his head in amusement. Sky changed and went back into the kitchen and was greeted with a kiss on the cheek and a plate of delicious breakfast. The taste exploded in her mouth, they were delicious. Sky practically moaned, and closed her eyes so she could savored the taste.
"Holy mother of pancakes! Please make more of these! They are fucking delicious!! I want a never ending pile!" Sky said in-between mouthfuls.
"They can't be that great, I almost failed my home-tech class last semester, it must be because you haven't had any in a while."
"I don't know, but I have been craving these fuckers since the night we were taken here. I went to bed thinking of making myself some in the morning, but of course with my dumb luck I end up here wishing I could eat pancakes, in a very pancakless place." Mason laughed at Sky's comment about pancakes, Sky looked up in surprise and almost choked on her pancake.
"Wow! You just fucking laughed, like a genuine laugh! I have never in the three years that I've known you, heard you laugh like that."
"I reserve that laugh for special people." Sky pursed her lips and raised her eyebrows.
"You must tell that to every girl you share a bed with."
"No, but I do tell that to every girl I get kidnapped with, and get up early to make pancake for, just to see her smile," Mason said jokingly.
"Oh, Ha! Ha! 'cause you get kidnapped all the time."
"Come to think about it, you are the first. But I'll keep this in mind for the next time I am kidnapped."
"Don't you dare use this trick again, unless it's for me. You can surprise me, and only me with these fabulous pancakes."
"Fine, if you make me dinner after work."
"You mean once?"
"No, I meant all the time. I'll make breakfast for both of us and you'll make dinner."
"No, I want to make breakfast sometimes, we can switch, I''ll do breakfast one week then you do breakfast the next."
"What about whoever gets to the kitchen first makes dinner or breakfast for the both of us?"
"Then you will never do anything. I will end up making breakfast lunch and dinner."
"We don't make our own lunch, remember?"
"Oh yeah. But still when we have the week off I'll end up doing the lunch," Sky was starting to whine and she knew it.
"Whatever, we can figure that shit out later. What are we doing with our first day off?" Mason asked. He got up and took her plate; he walked to the sink and began washing the dishes. Sky picked up a cloth that was lying around and dried them.
