The days and weeks passed without any sign of Sam. This did not comfort Sky; she knew that he would come back. She feared that he would do worse than rape her little girl; she jumped every time someone approached her. Lucy asked her a few days after she and Mason went back to work if everything was okay with her. Sky looked at her with such sad eyes but insisted that everything was fine. Sky didn't want to burden a woman that was pregnant and had her own problems. Sky's days were filled with 'what ifs' and 'how tos'. She wanted to find a way to get out and to get away from this place, but she didn't know how, she didn't even know where the door is to get out or how to get to the place where she and Mason were brought to. In her mind she traced all the hallways she had ever walked through and each floor she had stepped on, but she could not think of a way to get out. She figured that their best bet would be to die, but that would mean they get incinerated and they would not be able to do anything if they burn. No one would ever know where they had gone or what had happened to them.
While all these things went through Sky's mind and the days passed with no solutions, what she didn't know was that other forces were at work. A girl that would fight to the death no matter what happened.

Hanna Geno lived in Lakehead, Minnesota and she loved her life. She had everything she could ever ask for, a mother that loves her and a father that is kind to her she even has two brothers who treat like one of their own. Hanna is happy. Her life was very different before the Glockers adopted her two years ago. Hanna avoided speaking of the past as much as she could, and her new family respected that. This was one of the reasons why she liked them so much. Hanna went to school and had friends in this new life; no one knew that she was adopted since the family moved shortly after they had added her to the family. They had decided that it was time for a change after Hanna had come home from school in tears because her classmate had made fun of her. The family packed up and moved far enough away so that no one would know them.
Hanna was walking home from school and thinking about all the tests and projects she needs to work on that night. She stepped onto the road to walk across to her house and didn't see the car that was speeding towards her. The driver of the vehicle was looking down at his phone and didn't notice the girl that stepped onto the street. He looked up and hit the brakes; the man swerved out of the way and was able to avoid hitting the girl. He came to a stop and just stared at her while she stared at him in shock, a few seconds went by and neither of them moved. The man got out of his vehicle while Hanna picked up her books, which she had thrown on the ground when she noticed the car; she continues to walk on shaky legs.
"Hey! Are you okay?" the man yelled after her, Hanna simply looked back and gave a nod. She wanted to get as far away from the stranger as possible. The man kept staring at her as if he was trying to figure something out, she could feel his eyes on her back as she raced down the road and down her neighbours driveway. Hanna figured that if the last time were any indication, pretending that your neighbours place was yours would definitely get weird people out of your hair. She cut across their lawn and went around back, but just before she turned to step on their porch she cut through the hedge that separated their properties and dashed up her back steps. She closed the door and leaned on the door, she exhaled, closed her eyes and pointed her face towards the ceiling. Hanna's eyes snapped open and stared at her adoptive mother, when the latter cleared her throat. Clara, Hanna's adoptive mother, raised an eyebrow in question but she didn't say anything, she knew that if Hanna wanted to talk she would.
"I raced Kris home, and I clearly won," Hanna said as an explanation, Clara gave a small nod. Kris was Hanna's adoptive brother and Clara's real son.
