Summary

Thus leaving her on a journey of self-reflection with the most unlikely of partners.
Characters
Yuri So: After suffering from her supernatural abilities, Yuri So stays a rather soft-spoken, introverted, and paranoid person. She originally has an innate distrust for ghosts after a traumatic incident. However, after meeting Jun Ko, her personality develops more. She becomes kinder, more optimistic, open, helpful, and compassionate.
Jun Ko: Our spectacular specter, Jun Ko, is the party's unnatural afterlife. He's genuinely a kindhearted, friendly, and helpful, never wanting to intrude on Yuri's boundaries. Due to being a ghost for so long, he feels frustrated over his current state as he feels he can't communicate with Yuri the way he wants.
Overview
This was a trip down memory lane to revisit. I remember when this webtoon was releasing new chapters daily back in my freshmen year of high school. So coming back here was taking a lot of getting used to, still, much like Fast Foward My Boo is a frankly amazingly engaging story that holds you by the heart more so out of care than drama for a short time.
Yuri and Jun are probably some of the most engaging yet unorthodox relationships in webtoon. Beyond their polar opposite personalities, these two are fundamentally lonely and broken people. Both who've let the experience of ghosts (in far different circumstances) scar how they view themselves. However, at the same time, through their unique situation, they can't exactly turn away from each other.
Making their connection through their words and actions so much more impactful than it has any right to be. While this is technically a drama, I would market this as a romance. Or the very least, a story of people genuinely connecting. There's so much here that I want to say, so many moments that genuinely left me in awe or nearly crying, but I don't want that to ruin that experience for you.
This development from perfect strangers to perfect soulmates peaks in probably one of the most profound endings for a webtoon I've seen. One where it's both bittersweet but understandable. And if there is one thing that I can take away from this webtoon, it's acceptance. No matter how painful your past is and how insurmountably it's scarred you, one moment doesn't have to dictate your life.
Tragedy, mistakes, and sadness are natural aspects of daily life, for better or worse. This is why no matter how long it takes, no matter how hard it seems, you are okay as long as you move towards something better. Even when you stumble, cry, or scream on that path, it still doesn't take anything away from you. Since those feelings are valid, you are valid.
Epilogue
My Boo is easily the most impactful throwback that will probably be in this series. While it does such that I have to deal with the Daily pass system, this is one time where I will happily put up with it. I won't forget My Boo again, and maybe I'll make sure you all don't either. Still, with My Boo done, let's spin the spotlight elsewhere for now.
